Ziramis Report | 06/02/2007 8:38 pm
Ziramis
Ziramis Alta woke up with a start. She'd had the strangest dream, with a princess and a sorceress and a tower and... She had been able to speak in the dream. But she didn't say anything nice. She was glad the confusing fream was over.

Except... why could she still see the tower? Ziramis sat up in bed, then stared down at it. This wasn't her bed... This was way too fancy. Something that should belong to royalty. She looked around her with astonishment. The ruined palace was still rubble, except... Everything within 10 feet of Ziramis was in perfect condition. As if the palace was new again. She jumped off the bed, which was exceptionally high off the ground. She walked to the edge of the perfect region. Or, rather, she meant to. That region itself moved with her, never allowing her to touch the ruins. She looked back at the bed. Now, part of it was outside her radius, and it had decayed back into nothing but dust. She moved farther away, and the entirety crumbed. She went back to the dust, and the bed rose again, as if she'd never left.

This was a little too strange for Ziramis. She ran. Straight into the room's wall. Which had not been there seconds before. She fell to the floor.

"Yeowch. Magical walls suck." she said, then was struck by the sound of her own voice. When did that happen? She'd been mute since birth.

The room's suddenly appearing walls spun around in her head. She climbed back onto the bed and pulled the silk sheets over her head. She would deal with all this later. Or hope somebody else came to deal with it for her.

This would be her lucky day, as such a person was already staring at her.

The monster finally spit Raziya out of its mouth. She landed on a hard marble floor. The monster wagged its tail, then bounded off. Raziya did not appreciate being covered in monster drool. She stood and attemped to wipe it off, to no avail. Hearing the clang of metal hitting the floor, she looked up at a figure, sitting upon a shining throne. In the dark, she couldn't identify the figure. It didn't much matter anyway. She didn't know anybody who lived in a blue dimension.

(Okay, so this is the Lady here. We don't have anyone to play her. Oh, well.)

Roxanne was quite surprised to find herself suddenly in the blue world. She couldn't remember doing anything to get herself there. Matter of fact, she couldn't remember anything. Seemed she'd blanked in the disgust of the pit.

Just then, she saw a giant monster run past her, carrying some girl in its mouth. She stared at it blankly.

Lua would have thought Midara was just lost, like usual, except... she'd seen the trees. Moving. One was following them, had been doing so for 15 minutes. Midara didn't notice.

Midara Nocturne
Midara dragged Lua along after her, heading back through the woods. She had actually remembered to mark her trail this time. Mida had a tendency for forgetting things like that.

It didn't seem to be helping, though. She had slashed trees with her knife to mark them, but she was having a hard time finding the trees.

Val stared after the woman. She had headed down the hall to the labyrinth.

Nobody ever called the Lady original. She seemed to like swiping torture techniques from old myths. They hadn't actually been able to find a minotaur, so the Lady had put something else in there instead. Val wasn't sure what. She was pretty sure she should retrieve the prisoner, though.

Seeing the open door, Karo rushed out of the cell, knocking over the guard. She ran through a confusing mess of halls, determined to escape. She stopped for a second, out of breath. Queens did not do much in the way of running. She heard a sound from somewhere within the maze of halls. Something... that sounded hungry.

Why did this seem familiar? Karo seemed to recall a story like this from her childhood. If this was anything like that, whatever it was would eat her.

(Minotaur. But Karo won't get eaten.)

Princess Zira climbed the stairs to the observatory that the intruder had set up. She vaguely recalled some sort of dragon she had been told to chase, but it didn't seem important at the moment. Her clashing sets of memories were extremly annoying. She wasn't really sure whether they were all hers. It didn't seem that way. Princess Zira and Ziramis Alta couldn't agree on where they were going, either. But the princess ignored the other girl. For now, she was in control.

Raz was pretty sure the strange animal had left by now, but she couldn't see in the dark. She started climbing down the tree, and slipped, falling directly onto the animal.

"Gah!" she screamed as the animal suddenly began running off into the distance. She wasn't sure where it was going, but she was pretty sure she didn't want to come. She let herself slide off the animal. It turned around and growled at her. Raz tried running, but the thing tripped her with its tail and picked her up in its mouth. Clearly the animal wanted her to come, no matter how it had to carry her.

Raz was pissed off. This was not right, for a powerful sorceress to be carried around in some beast's mouth.

Roxanne had been in the pit for three hours, and it wasn't getting any less disgusting. She was sure she was covered in so much gunk as to make her completely unrecognizable.

She spotted a light ahead. Breathing a sign of relief, she climbed up the slimy walls... and slid right back down. This pit was definitely trying to kill her.
