Physical Description: Zen is, first of all, a little on the short side ( especially compared to his family ). His tattoo color is a rather unique one, black not being a very common color, and his entire body is covered in various intricate designs from his elven heritage, though he's added some of his own tattoos as well on his ears, left wrist, and feet, being a flame design. On the tops of his hands is the Earth Military Symbol, tattooed against his will to brand him forever as a member of the Earth Military. He also has four piercings on each ear, eight piercings total - a ring, three gems of different colors, and a spike at the very tip. He has a long scar that spans from the bottom, inner corner of his right pectoral out over his right shoulder.
Clothing: Zen prefers a simple wardrobe consisting of a jade-green shirt, old, tattered, grey pants, steel heel, sole, and toed hiking boots, and a soft, but insulating trench coat. He has, however, been known to wear an extremely over-sized, purple tee-shirt, various shorts, and fuzzy slippers.

Personality Traits: Most noticeably, Zen has Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder ( PTSD, and another name for "Shell Shock" ), and due to this he has a tendency to be extremely timid and rigid, fearful of just about anything and anyone new. He's extremely paranoid about quite a lot of things, and emotionally unstable. However, despite his mental mishaps, he's also loyal to a fault, and extremely caring. He'd take every burden of every friend if he could, even if it'd kill him and he knew it.
Occupation: Zen does and has done quite a lot of stuff. His very first occupation was being in the military. From there he's been a student, a mechanic, a cook, a handy-man, a trucker, etc.
Biography: Zen was born on the Siberian tundra, but not long after his birth his family moved East to Canada. There he grew up until his brother, Russell, was recruited into the Earth Military, though he would not allow Russell to go alone and demanded he go with them. The Canadian government traded the two elves over to the US government for some information, and in turn the US government was able to build up their extremely new "Earth Military", at this point a special branch dealing with non-human creatures with human or nearly-human intelligence. This all took place right at the beginning of WWII, and when Zen and Russell were actually put into combat, Russell died due to a gunshot wound to the chest, and the rest of Zen's party was eventually captured and killed. He was the only survivor because an enemy soldier took interest in him due to his interesting appearance. Zen then stayed in the Auschwitz death camp for a little over three years, where he was castrated upon entering, before the camp was liberated, his savior hanged, and he returned to the Earth Military. The Earth Military kept him for experiments of their own, and "released" him towards a worm-hole just outside of Mars' orbit where he ended up crashing into one of Lopezz' expansive deserts. From there he was taken to an orphanage until he learned the native tongue and opted to live on his own. While in the Lopian military during one of their bloodiest wars, Zen was shot in the chest, too, but it was luckily salvageable unlike Russell's, so he now merely has a long, deep scar. When that happened the hospital used brandy and whiskey as pain killers while he recovered, but due to elven heritage Zen had very little resistance to alcohol, so he was eventually discharged due to alcoholism which he is still yet to boot. He lived on the streets of major cities along the western coast for several decades before the opportunity to go back home came to him. When this happened he jumped on the opportunity, but was a bit timid about approaching his family again after so many years, but even more timid about answering the inevitable questions that would arise about Russell and where he was. It took his family about a year to realize that Zen was drinking at all, but not much longer after that to realize that he was an alcoholic - a sin within the elven culture. When the Grand Council heard of this they first opted to exile him, but his sentence was reduced to that of a Corrupt instead. Zen and his family eventually moved back to Lopezz, bringing with them several "extended" relatives as well, and it had turned out that neither Zen nor Russell's bank accounts, first made when they were in the military, had been closed so Zen came across quite a sum of money when he came to claim it, though that hasn't stopped him from living like a homeless bum. His family supports him now, and he lives a much more stable life, though shortly after Russell returned his life seemed to take a brief turn for the worse, though he has since recovered.
