I write poetry here is a sample
The numbing mind.
Laying on the ground
Searching all around.
Leaving me in this place
My body is such a disgrace.
I can’t find my way out
Of this hurtful drought.
My mind is numb
Pretending to be dumb.
It cant protect itself
From being hung up on a shelf.
Never to be used again
Always afraid of the pain.
Always wandering away

Forgetting all that I know
Making me feel nothing but low.
Not remembering my name
Finally dulling the pain.
Giving up on what I once knew
Telling myself I’m finally through.
