the One you Sold to Fool the World
Time flows like a river....a person can choose to flow with it....to stand like a stone against it....or to jump out of it. Once a person jumps out, what is next? Does the person choose to sit beside the river? To run along the river bank? To jump back in? Or to walk away?Ever had a dream where you were detached...watching yourself as a third person? Many times that is how I feel about the way I interact with life...or the world. A spectator...there to play a part, but not to interfere beyond that. Detached could be used to describe it. A different view of reality...perhaps. Cold? At times. Survival Mode?
I find peace in places where many find sorrow. Waste where others see profit. Beauty in chaos. Destruction in creation. Death in a way of life. Shadows in light. Knowledge in ignorance. Deceit in the pure. Blessings in a curse. Enemy in an ally.
I also find sorrow where many find peace. Profit where others see waste. Chaos in beauty. Creation in destruction. Life in a way of death. Light in shadows. Ignorance in knowledge. Pure in the deceit. Curse in a blessing. Ally in an enemy.
To gaze upon the world through eyes not of your own may come a scene you may not have seen if gazed through your own. But...who is willing to trade their eyes for another's?
~*ABOUT ME*~ I enjoy traveling and photography. I also like to read or watch things about different culture or history, or the changing of the times. I take part in writing and capturing the things that may not always be. Above all others my family has been placed.
I have been to many places and seen a lot of things by my age of 26. I've lived in Germany and all along the east coast of the US, but am now in the awesome city of Seoul. Who knows what awaits me next?
~*WHO TO MEET*~ As an open-minded person, I would like to befriend other open-minded people. However, it doesn't always have to be the case as long as there is respect for each other...regardless of our differences. If everyone was the same...wouldn't it be a grey world? Thus, it should go without saying, that I do not need those of the condemning kind that make up the mass majority that keep the train wrecks wrecking. Every person does not follow the same path(s)...each is an individual - with their own qualities, views, and personalities. Thus, each living flame is different - so keep in mind not to snuff that out while you are visiting here.
~*MUSIC*~ Recently I have been listening a lot to Rammstein's music (love "Sonne" and "Mein Teil") or Nine Inch Nails. But I also listen to older rock, like The Who, The Beatles, Buffalo Springfield, Jefferson Airplane, Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix, and so forth. So new and not-so-new music (bare with me younger people) such as Garbage, Nine Inch Nails, A Perfect Circle, Johnny Cash, Guano Apes, Incubus, Marilyn Manson, Red Hot Chili Peppers...and the list goes on. Of course and can't leave out instrumental music by Nobuo Uematsu & Tan Dun along with various traditionals.
~*INTERESTS*~ Various religions & mythologies, ancient cultures, reading, music, family & friends, controversial subjects, photography, learning. Let's not forget the direction of self destruction we have guided ourselves in regards to the earth.
It seems like so many people are so eager to believe what is handed to them via TV that it has become a disease...a brain-sucker in other terms. Contributing to people who can't think for themselves and sapping their ability to do anything. Unplug yourself! Step out of the crowd...and stand above the rest to do what is right. Others will follow you and "just one person" will become many. Thus the making of a revolution and it started with such a simple movement.
