Yasuchika is the Karate Club captain, and is also part of the Judo club. He is much more restrained with his emotions than his older brother. He takes his role as a Haninozuka very seriously, and is disciplined in sports and education. He is a perfectionist who hates anything sweet. To distinguish himself from his brother, Chika wears glasses though they're actually not needed. Yasuchika gets easily worked up over his brother, and is also repulsed by how cute Hunny can act. He thinks it's disgusting, and is so freaked out by it that Chika sometimes refers to Hunny as an alien. He wears glasses to avoid losing his cool, but also so that Hunny will appear blurry to him, as they are prescription lenses. Despite what he says and how he acts, Yasuchika respects Hunny as a martial artist, and after Hunny praises his growth, Chika is nearly overcome with emotion.
