AboutAnd all she needs is somebody to scream.
Somebody to remind her life isn’t a dream.
That her actions have consequences, you don’t get second tries.
She just needs somebody to hold her while she cries.
But she can’t cry around people, it proves she’s weak.
Chooses her words carefully, but she can hardly speak.
Waiting for somebody to scream her name, take her pain.
Waiting for somebody to remind her she isn’t insane.
She’s wondering who’s listening and who’s hearing.
There’s a difference between the two, and that’s what she’s fearing.
So, she lies down in her bed and closes her eyes tight.
Screaming for somebody to come and make this alright.
Because she’s starting to question everything.
And she doesn’t want that, she doesn’t want anything.
Maybe she’s just done with life, done with being alive.
Maybe she’s just screaming for a chance to survive.
What if she doesn’t want to be saved, she just wants to die?
And what if you can save her without having to lie?
Don’t you see, you’re words are actually very true.
But the only person that can save her anymore is you.
You’re the only person she lets in, the only one she sees.
And silently she’s screaming for you, then whispering silent pleas.
Nothing’s right when everything’s so very wrong.
But she’s never felt this connected, never felt so strong.
But with strength comes weakness, with weakness comes truth.
She knows she needs to stay, but maybe she just needs proof.
