Haha.
Opposite for me. When I naturally grew my nails out for Manicure class, I had trouble grabbing little things, and knocking them a lot on stuff.
You'll get used to it ;D

Omgosh. I had fake nails over the summer before starting school. I had to break them off myself before I went back because I was trying to NOT bite my nails anymore xD.
So i know where you're coming from with the no spare cash bit xD!

Um, the best thing I used was a buffer, used lightly to get rid of extra uneven-ness, filed them straight across in one direction to get rid of any small tears/breaks that might have been there. I also used Cuticle oil along the cuticles and on the nail plate, then I rubbed that in and let it set for an hour or so before applying a nail strengthener [wipe off the nail plate with a little bit of nail polish remover first, perferably one with Vitamins added to it, and Non-acetone :3. Otherwise the polish will have troubles adhering to the nail.].

Best one I've come across has been "Sally Hansen - Age Correct Strength" For Dry + Brittle nails. You apply it once every two days, it has Vitamin E in it :3

I think that was the tour back in 2008, not really sure.
All I got out of it was the chance to touch Jerry Only's hand because I was standing super close to the stage, a few close up stage photos of them, and a pair of Misfits gloves.
Although I do own two shirts of theirs and a few cds, but a glow-in-the dark shirt of theirs, god I want one. D8
Not alot of big bands that I love play where I live as well and I live in Texas, US, the most bands that play over here like regulars are bands I don't like. -.-

And that's cool, kudos to you for having a Misfits tattoo but I've actually seen them live back in 2008.
