Appearance: Red hair, dark green eyes. Various unimportant scars to be found on his body. Most of these are from his previous line of work.
An eye patch over his left eye is used to hide one of his more unsightly scars. His body type is muscular as a result of his line of work and way of living.

Extra Notes: Signs of being captive or imprisoned linger in the form of broken cuffs on his wrists and a metal collar about his neck.
He also has been seen carrying about a chain-ball sometimes. Seems like he's had it for some time now as he's gotten accustomed to carrying the heavy weight around easily.

History: In the beginning, Ryo once lived making a hard earned living in the post-war village he was born into. His life was a peaceful one, one he was more than thankful for.

This might have lasted if not for one night that changed his way of life entirely. It seems he will not speak easily of the incident. Since that night he hasn't been able to return to his home, much less anywhere near it. And so, Ryo has wandered aimlessly, never straying in one place long. He has no destinations in mind...though there are questions to be answered. Seeking these answers, perhaps, is what drives him to continue his wandering.

Over the course of his traveling, Ryo has learned one thing. For one reason or another, it seems he bears an insufferable curse. This curse causes demons to follow him where ever he strays, wrecking mischief and havoc on him as well as those unfortunate enough to be around him. For this reason, he makes it a habit to not dwell in occupied areas for any longer than it would take him to gain food, shelter, and the occassional odd job to earn him enough to continue on his way.

The new life that has been carved for him has made him highly experienced to the presence and ways of demons and there is hardly a moment where he is given the peace to not be bound to one. Knowing this and using it to his advantage, he has formed a pact with the water demon Ushi-Oni. Offering up whatever the demon desired, in return Ryo would harness the demon to him, obligating Ushi-Oni to assist him in protecting the villages he passes from any trouble that befalls them on his account.
