History//: Medusa is the younger sister of Arachne, and the mother of Chrona.
Medusa often manipulates Crona. Forcing her to do things like collecting every soul they come across, and using Medusa a hypnotic spell in Crona's mind when she begins to falter.
Personality//: Medusa is a very manipulative and deceptive person, much like the snake is commonly depicted as in various beliefs. Similarly to Dr. Stein she sees everyone and everything as an experiment, but she is also willing to use anyone and everyone to further her plans by any means necessary.
While in disguise as shibusen's school nurse, she acts like a very supportive person to hide her true nature.
It is revealed by Arachne that she has a crush on Dr. Stein, which she claims is due to his creativity. { Stupid Sister. >//>; }
Appearance//: While she wears many outfits in the series, her most common one is a black body length hoodie (which goes to her knees) with arrow coattails hanging from the back. She also seem to prefer going barefoot whenever she dons this outfit.
Medusa's witch animal theme is snakes. She uses the magic chant "Nake snake cobra cobubra", and is themed with arrow markings. Also when she gets serious or just wants to be scary, her face also takes on the likeness of a snake.
After the revival of the kishin she began to posses the child Rachel Boyd giving her the appearance of a child, which she finds useful for deceiving people.
After her defeat by Maka, Medusa takes Arachne's body and its appearance shifts closer to Medusa's bearing Arachne's hair color but in Medusa's style.
Abilities//: Medusa has thousands of snakes in her body ready to do her bidding without the need to drop her soul protection, which also allows her to avoid being discovered by others.
Her magic attacks in the form of snakes and uses the concept of vectors (directions).
Serpent Whip: Medusa extends one of her snakes to strike from afar. Known as Light Serpent in the anime.
Steam Vector: This attack surrounds Medusa with her Vector Arrows making a spinning tornado like shield. She has also displayed the ability to compress the Vector Arrows following this attack on command, to surround and crush an opponent. Called Vector Storm in the anime.
Snake Bomb: Places a snake from her body into someone else; it will only detonate when she gives the signal.
Vector Boost: A magic that doubles the power drawn in the direction of the arrow.
Vector Conduct: A technique used to see hidden marks.
