The gospel is this, we've all sinned against God and fallen short of His standard. In essence, we deserve to go to Hell because of our sins against Him. Thankfully, He has been saving us from His wrath since day one. Up until He sent Jesus, who made satisfaction for His wrath once and for all. Trust in Him, and you will not be led astray. Being a believer is not about going to church, but about following God even when it is hard. And it get's very hard at times. We all fail, but He's there to pick us up.
