Red smiled, realizing his fame went a long way after winning in the League. Most of his days were spent traveling, collecting new Pokemon and making new friends.
He hadn't realized that Blue had done her own training. How long has it been since he'd seen her.
Pikachu let out it's cry in excitement.
"The one and only, haha. She was a tricky one." True, it had been some time, she may have changed.

Red's expression went from blank to full blown smile, he hasn't seen Blue in a long time which would explain the gap in attaining new Pokemon.
"I know her, pretty well actually. We competed in the same League."

Surprised by Vulpix's appearance, Pikachu scurried back and up to Red's shoulder.
"Nice to meet you, and your teammate too," He'd say tipping his hat in a greeting fashion.
Had he received his new Pokedex, he could document this meeting.
"You must be traveling?" He was just coming from the port, arriving in the region only hours ago.
