My latest poetry
(This poem is about my burned and cut hand. lol. its not too good though so dont laugh- i couldnt think of anything)
Burning, aching
The pain is taking
It will never cease
carresed in band-aids till' the ambulance comes
The loud noise of the vehicle
Distracts me from the pain
The man in the corner
seems very vein
Talking about how he has had much worse
And that my burn was only little;
Nothing to get upset about
no reason to be afraid
when i know i will need surgery
he just laughs at my fate;
The doctor tells me to sit down
The results have come back
second degree burn
and the same fate for my back
I explained to him what had happened
My hand smashed in the pot
little did i know, things were about to get hot
the pot was rather large, i was cooking for four
In fact the pot splashed all the water on my back before falling to the floor
The doctor left the room and came back with weird things
He nummed me up and sewed my hand up, i had a six inch cut
He slathered my hand with goop
He did the same for my back
and prescribed some painkiller;
Well that was just three days ago and ever since then
Im constantly reminded how dumb that i was then

a lovely woman quite like you,
since even he, the Avon Bard,
might well have found the task too hard
of mining with his magic pen
the spell you cast on mortal men,
and failing thus, he might have lost
the will to write, which could have cost
the world his Hamlet or his Lear.
I'm glad he didn't know you, dear.
It's lucky that the road Frost took
did not afford him one good look
at you, or he'd have quit his pen
and joined the ranks of rhymeless men
who all their lives would never know
the urge to lie down in the snow
or what it's like to pick and pick
so many apples you grow sick.
You could have ruined a great career.
I'm glad he didn't know you, dear.
Oh no! I truly think it's best
that you met me, and not the rest,
since I have nothing on my plate
your beauty would adulterate,
and if it's me, my love, you choose,
the world has nothing much to lose.
So for the sake of timeless art,
won't you let me in your heart?
From worthy souls, you should stay clear.
I'm glad they do not know you, dear.

just how childish we could be
late night walks
walks on the beach
this vision so close
yet out of reach
of laughter
so real so free
who could've made you smile
was it really me
bike rides
anytime anyplace
another release
from the rat race

a mischievous glance
my god I remember
now that was romance
as I awake from my daydream
once again I find
I've been reviewing
home movies in my mind What happened to our love?
It used to be so bright
Loving, laughing, caring
Then soon caught the night
You were my one and only love
Cared for you too much
Then something happened
And slept with that man
You deceived me
I never felt so desperate
But I try to forgive you now
And try not to think about before
I love you so much
It just hurts to ponder now
Everything I have
Is because of you
Everything I bought
Was because of you
I just love you so much
I'm scared to lose you

Why does life have to be like this
Full of hatred and pain
Instead of joy and bliss
