About
Hello, you seem to have found my profile. I'm Nedraxilloviara, Nedra for short. I used to be a member of one of the Great Houses *cough*Time Lady*cough* but ran into a bit of trouble on a trip away from the Homeworld *cough*Gallifrey*cough* and ended up being recruited into Faction Paradox. Long story, very complicated, and some parts of it haven't happened yet. What's Faction Paradox? Not many have heard about it - the Great Houses really, really don't like us. We were founded by Grandfather Paradox, who anyone from the Homeworld would say was an escaped dangerous criminal. Faction Paradox has been called a time-traveling voodoo cult, and I suppose that's a fair enough description. Some would call our rituals spacio-temporal manipulation, but what's the difference between high technology and magic? None, really, except that magic is a much more impressive name for it.
Unlike the Great Houses, we embrace and venerate paradox rather than hating and shunning it. We have weapons bonded to our shadows and can change anything about a person's history if we have a sample of their biodata - that's like temporal DNA, you know.
There is one Homeworld renegade that we've had our eye on for a while - Faction Paradox has its own name for him, but you might know him as the Doctor. He's prime Faction material, if we could only convince (or force) him to join instead of fighting us.
Faction Paradox has an empire - the Eleven-day Empire, to be exact. It's the 11 days that were skipped during the switch from the Julian to the Gregorian calender in 1752. We bought it from the British government and have our Parliament in London, in the House of Lords. It's actually a rather nice place, if you don't mind the Unkindnesses who live on the outskirts of the city.
You'll have to excuse me, I've got timelines to tamper with, rituals to perform, and temporal havoc to cause.
(Faction Paradox belongs to Lawrence Miles, who invented it for the Doctor Who novel Alien Bodies and went on to write an independent series of books that have also been adapted as audio dramas.)

heart crying
That's the same reason I bought it. It's the Overlander Duster.
