The whole way that "commenting back" on someone's profile works seems awkward to me - there's no obvious quote feature which means the conversation is split in half between the two profiles...

Anyways, you have a good point, a good portion of the fun of schemes is the scheming itself. I guess that's why were all here on Gaia anyways, considering it's basically just a big dreamland. And speaking of the music room, while I am still probably a ways off from landing a harp, I did just put in an order with a friend who builds guitars, so soon there will be a guitar there to share space with the piano and bass. xd

Thanks for sharing your art. It has an interesting combination of playfulness and maturity, if that makes sense. It's interesting to see several of them as WIPs.

Heh. Sometimes I worry that my whole life is "planning time" and I'm never gonna get enough "doing time" in between. At any rate, the "music room" is really just a big and otherwise empty bedroom. Do you ever share your drawings, or is it just a personal thing?

Bookshelves as walls! Genius! I will have to at least try it out. Though, I still think the biggest constraint is pure size. I mean, I don't want to ditch the piano, but it is HUGE. If I try to cut the place up into rooms, either the piano is going to end up in a room so small there's no space for even one audience member, or the other room(s) are going to be so small as to be functionally useless. So - do you cut it up and have tiny rooms with deliberate themes and purposes, or leave it big and try your best to mix and match? Regarding the piano, I guess at this point it's a rare escape. I probably only play once or twice a month, but when I do, it's one of those things where time stops and you get lost. My training was almost purely classical, which unfortunately leaves me feeling really awkward in many other styles, so perhaps one day I'll officially take lessons again. And speaking of harps, I am totally onboard. I actually have a spot in my music room (in my real home, not the gaia one xd ) set aside for one. I guess I have a thing for large, majestic instruments! Alas, I was not born on New Years, but I will send you a PM with the real date.

I agree on the whole one-room thing. On the one hand, I suppose it forces you to have a sense of focus. On other hand, it is definitely restricting. And, well, before the beginning of time as far as my personal memory is concerned. xd That is to say, if I try to play my childhood timeline in my head, I never remember a time when I wasn't taking lessons. And I'm glad you liked the gift. I'm hoping you can find a way to fit it in to one of your many amazing avatar costumes!

Don't mind at all! Feel free to visit any time. And no worries about tracking in dirt. One of the advantages of a concrete floor is that it's easy to clean. I've played piano since before time began, but lately my travels have kept me away from it. Hence my desire to have one now that I own a home! I'm more used to camping too, but at least now I have a place to crash. I've done some more decorating but still don't feel like I have the style quite together yet...

Well, I ended up in 134126. It certainly SOUNDS like it's out in the burbs but I don't really know... At any rate, I need to do some furniture shopping at some point, all I have right now is a piano. And it does keep me entertained, and you can sorta use it like a table, but it's not good for sleeping on...
