I just found out yesterday that there were other types of fish out now.

You'll get used to it. XD
After I went Pro rod Plus, I haven't used any other rod really. I now only use other ones if I feel like switching it up a bit. But the Pro rod Plus is my top choice.
You should try the strength rod if you still have difficulties. That one is more straight and makes it a little easier to pull in fish, but it doesn't go as far (which may mean less bigger fish).

(I can't sell those flowers AT ALL for some reason. I can sell inks and fish like nobody's business, but when it comes to selling those things, I just can't do it. D;

I totally know what you mean.
That's why I'm not an outside person.
Being cagged in all of the time makes you used to it.

And plus, just becuase she wants you to go somewhere cheaper doesn't mean you should hold off on that testing so long!
You just need to get everything done and turned in yourself. That part has nothing to do with her.
