It's called; Death Note: Another Novel: The Los Angeles BB Murder Cases. Overall... I kind of didn't like it... at all. The antagonist (as well as the murderer); Beyond Birthday (known as "B" in Whammy's House), was kind of delusional, and obsessed with L. Naomi was too smart, and L was VERY cocky DD:

(The major plot twist at the end still made me scream though! :3)

Well, that's certainly a relief. Although it would've been very strange to receive letters about your chase, since the cops could have just followed you two and the red car. Unless, of course, they were too amused by the situation to do anything.
