"You sure are bright and cheery today" he commented upon her warm smile which eventually made him feel a little bit better. After taking a few steps, Edward embraced Rose and gently said "Thank you"

After leaving the note, Edward immediately left and went back downstairs where Rose awaits. "Alright, let's get going!" he said enthusiastically.

"She must still be asleep" he thought to himself then searched for a piece of paper. As soon as he found one, he wrote where he was going and the time he'd probably be back then slipped the piece of paper onto Winry's door.

"So you already planned this?" he asked while taking Rose's hand. As the two began to walking, Edward suddenly remembered he needs to notify Winry. So he told Rose to wait for him downstairs.

Edward came knocking at Winry's door "Uhhh... Winry, are you up?" he asked waiting for her response.

Rose's smile seemed to have calmed Edward's nerves a bit although he was still breathing heavily from his rage. "P-Perhaps something that could take my mind off things would be best right now" he answered Rose's question without lifting his head up.

Edward wasn't able to control his rage and suddenly yelled at Rose "How many times do I have to tell you I'm perfectly fine!" Then gasped as he realizes he might have offended her. He looked down, his hair partially covering his face, and apologized sincerely to Rose for yelling at her for no reason.

"Come on Edward, pull yourself together!" he said to himself; trying to remain strong. Aside from what had happened, he couldn't think straight because of his headache. Soon after, he snapped out of his trance and said "I'm sorry, Rose. Did you say something?" even though Rose never said a word.

"Are you sure?" he checked then eventually gave in "If that's what you want. We'll just have a big lunch later on" he said smiling as he got back to his seat. He lifted up his cup once again to take another sip then looked at his reflection.
