To Edward, it seemed like she was already done with the adjustments but why is she still tweaking things here and there? He wondered so eventually he asked "Winry.. um.. is it almost done?"

He snarled vigorously then complained to himself about the intense pain "Damn! I hate it when that happens!" Afterward, he gazed at Winry thinking when would be the best time to give her the flowers. He continues to hesitate but convinced himself that he must do it.

After Winry made all the necessary adjustments, he prepares himself to bear with the pain of reattaching the auto-mail onto his nerves. "A-Alright, I'm ready" he mumbled.

Obviously Winry is still in a bad mood, so he decided to not give to flowers just yet. He rushed back to the house and hid it under his coat then sat on the vacant chair next to Winry.

"Winry?" he mumbled after hearing some footsteps coming from the front door then quickly hid the flowers. He waved at her all bright and cheery-like although Winry mistook this as Edward not having any empathy for her. Actually, Edward was trying to cheer her up a little bit but his actions were the total opposite. "Good morning, Winry!" he exclaimed but there was no response.

Edward was outside, preparing and arranging the perfect set of flowers for Winry. It took him a while since he was trying different combinations that would hopefully suit Winry's satisfaction and he totally forgot about the time.

Assuming that it would take Winry a couple of hours, or even days for that matter, he eventually went off somewhere to find a place where he could be alone. He found a vacant room next to Winry's "This would be perfect!" he said to himself and immediately went in and locked himself inside until daybreak comes. Although he couldn't sleep well during the night as he kept on thinking about Winry. Kept on tossing and turning until he eventually got frustrated.

The next morning, he got up early and Winry was still busy working on his auto-mail. He planned on surprising her with a bouquet of flowers as a peace offering.

He was at a loss of words, he didn't know what to say. Instead he just stood there like a solid statue without uttering a single word, not even an apology. He then pulled up a chair after Winry walked over to him to take care of the wrecked auto-mail arm. He pondered to himself "What am I suppose to say to her? Whatever I say would just ruined her mood even more. It's better this way."

Edward just shut his eyes and braced himself as soon as he saw Winry reaching for her wrench and lifting it up in the air. But to his surprise, she just dropped it which forced him to lift his head up and to look at her expression. She had a weird expression on her face but Edward just continued his ignorance and grew silent.

After seeing her doubting face, Edward just looked down and lifted his auto-mail. He figured he didn't have to say anything else and prepared himself for another whack in the head with her wrench. The worst part of it all was because he didn't even apologize.

At first Edward hesitated to enter the shop. He was fully aware Winry would go berserk again, especially how trashed his auto-mail appeared. Eventually he forced himself but hid it behind his back. "Well the t-thing is, Winry... ummm" he answered her nervously but couldn't quite spill it out.
