After several hours, the sun was already rising and Edward barely got any sleep. That fight they had kept him up all night. Seeing that getting any sleep was out of his hands, he stood up and went to the kitchen to make himself some coffee and to find something to eat.

As he started climbing down, he took one more short glance at Winry. Once he got back to his room, he lied on the bed while covering his face, still feeling ashamed. He wanted to fall asleep but he can't.

Edward was surprised at what Winry said but he still didn't want to look at her. Instead he just stood up and said "I-It's getting late. We should head back" then started walking to one edge of the roof.

"I... I ummm..." he didn't know what to say after that. Should he apologize? Should he even say anything? Edward no longer has the courage to face her. He felt ashamed of himself for causing Winry so much trouble.

"So that's it..." these were the only words he said after Winry's comment. Truth is, he didn't want Winry to find out because it'll only worry her more and he hates that. Edward just looked down and stayed quiet.

Edward wanted to distract himself so he looked at the constellations. But he couldn't help stealing glances at Winry inconspicuously. "So... uh... I-It's been a while since we did this sort of stuff" he said.

Edward made his way to the roof through the window. As he pulled himself up, he was shocked to see Winry sitting right in front of him "W-Winry?!" he uttered.

Edward sat near the window and saw the moon glowing beautifully. He gazed at the stars and recalled the days back when he and his brother were stuck in the deserted island for their alchemy training. He remembered how calm he was so why not enjoy watching them at the rooftop?

But if I'll choose to do it tomorrow.. what if it'll be too late?!" he weighed the two possible options but still couldn't make up his mind. So through the whole night he pondered over them and refuses to stop until he's made his final decision.

Edward finally made it to his room although he had no plans of sleeping yet. He just lied there, kept on tossing and turning and getting irritated by his crazy thoughts. "What am I gonna do?" he questioned himself.

After a few minutes, Edward finished cleaning the dishes as well as the table. "So, Rose... You still haven't told me why you came down. Having trouble sleeping?" he mentioned once again.
