Well, there were these 3 (I thought) guys making fun of this elderly gent in Walmart, and generally being a nuisance. Which, the general nuisance bit I don't mind. I'm sort of a nuisance myself.
Anyway, they're sitting there going back and forth picking on the door greeter, who has to be in his late 70's, for a good hour or so. Which I could only take so long.
As my part of 3 and their party of their were walking out, I told them how I felt about it. Which, they didn't take too kindly too Because suddenly there was no longer 3 of them, there were 5.
What insued was a general melee, we were outnumbered, and it turned out the people who picked on old folks, could actually fight (shocking, I know)
Anyway I got this black eye, and I'm fairly sure something happened to the cartilage on the left side of my nose cause it feels funny now, my buddy hurt his knee, and nothing remarkable at all happened to our third friend.
And I'm sure the conversation we had earlier in the night about "We should be super-heros" didn't contribute anything at all to the fight.

Lol. No, not for a long time. I just don't have any recent pictures of me.
But I totally had a good reason for that black eye.

Yes, he was secured with a rope to prevent him from escaping. Usually the press is not allowed at such reconstructions but I suppose they had brought their finest lenses and filmed from the shore.

It was expected though, it's standard operating procedure. They are attempting to find the video camera, I think, and thought they might get something out of him if they brought him back there.

In the Netherlands we have these whipped cream cartons that you can whip up yourself using a whipping device of which of course I am clueless at the moment of how it is called in English. A whipper? You can choose to add sugar or not and uses real cream that is made of real cows, not corn syrup. I hope that answers your question?

Which is why it's so modern. That innocent Victorian look really plays through with the pale skin, very round faces, and big, almost glass-like eyes. All of the skin features and body features are soft and feminine. But yes, it's also creepy and some what repellant because of the modern twist. He tweaked it just enough to make it that way. You're certainly right that he is a master as to take something so beautiful and make it some what repulsive. As much as I like artists who take the repulsive and strange and just go with it, it's definitely a bit more interesting to turn something the opposite yet still allow it keep its original status. Definitely more complicated.

Yes, I have seen him in Juxtapose before. I love his stuff. It has such an interesting Victorian influence and feel to it yet it's also very modern.

That artist looks really familiar. Do you know of them? I think I've seen them in an issue of Juxtapose Art Magazine before. I love the artists they promote.
