Hey, hope you were able to finish up that excruciating paper without going through too much trouble. It's topics like that where I wish I could more easily understand finance and economics, since I feel like I only know enough now to go, "Hm, that doesn't sound right, and I feel like it's something I ought to have a reasoned adult opinion over."

Yeah, the program is kind of like if you put anthropology, psychology, sociology, and every other social science into one. Childcare and youth development is definitely the most popular facet, and I liked that you could also choose to focus on the relationship between the individual and their career/employer, since it sounded very relevant to someone working in Human Resources. If nothing else, maybe it'd serve me well in doing something like being a CASA volunteer later in life.

I don't actually have my character info posted anywhere online yet, just a bunch of random text files either on my computer or tucked away somewhere in my desk. I have a charahub account that I've always meant to consolidate information onto, but they always seem to go down whenever I have the time to try. I've really wanted to play around with a character inspired by the Shadowrun "rigger" type, but I have zero idea where to go with that one. Calista is probably the one I'd choose based on comfort level playing around with her, though. She kind of fits into whatever setting and is a horrible woman, but she's by far the most developed. I'll probably start getting the information I have on her posted up today, as well as a couple other characters. As far as story or setting goes, I have a soft spot for dystopian futures and some science fiction (sometimes with fantasy elements). I don't mind adult themes, and I figure if something becomes an uncomfortable topic it's OK to step back to talk about it OOC. I can't think of anything that would offend me.

My major is Human Development & Family Studies. It's something I had an interest in and figured would be easy enough to get through to just finally have my Bachelor's of Science. I made the mistake of doing both a statistics and bioethics course at the same time, though. The way ASU has their online courses structured is rather than doing four courses as full-time for a whole semester, they split up the semester into "A" and "B" terms where you take two courses at an accelerated pace per term. I don't think I like it now that I've experienced a couple of semesters, though. I might back off to part-time for the Fall semester. Are you taking your courses online or on campus? Accounting or something business-related, right?

I am interested in RP, actually. It has been forever since I've done anything like it, though. Closest I've gotten in the last couple years is a few rounds of tabletop stuff. I have a couple of characters from long ago that I occasionally add to their storyline, but I just haven't RP'ed with 'em since I was younger. Where does one start an RP nowadays?

And penpals would be cool! Simple letters or just stream of consciousness rambling on notebook paper is totally fine with me. I kinda collect stationery, and it's a way for me to use it up while also connecting with other people. It's a good excuse for me to do other things I'd like to do as well, like origami or doodling or other minor crafty stuff. For some reason I never do those things just for me, but when it's for someone else I feel more inspired to take the time to do them.

Ohh wow, you've done so many things in your life!
I've always wanted to join the Navy, but I found a deeper passion else where. Maybe one day.
My whole family has been serving, Marines, Navy, to Air Force, so it's up to my brothers if I dont.

I'm not a fan of travelling, but one day I would like to travel to Bulgaria to see 'The Eyes of God.' a karst cave.
What has been your favorite place to travel?
