The book was ******** amazing.
As for Corpse Bride, I don't associate it with Nightmare at all. The plots are totally different and, while they are visually similar, the overall design and mood of the movie is vastly different than Nightmare.
Some people just get very popular because they're noticeably different than others of their class. There are other people who have gained such popularity by means of insufficient talent that deserve a hell of a lot more grilling than Burton. (cooughKESHAcoughcough)
Yeah I was just mentioned LOG because I love them, not because you didn't know them. c: Any metalhead recognizes the godliness of that band.
I understand getting sick of him; he does have a certain style that has become somewhat obtrusive. It's all preference at this point.
Oh, and I totally forgot to mention Lamb of God. mfba
He did the play Sweeny Todd justice, which is good enough for me. I actually enjoyed Corpse Bride, ignoring the painfully bad musical score. Visually, it was an interesting and satisfying movie. c:
I liked some things about Alice in Wonderland, but I wasn't ever expecting it to be amazing. Mostly, it was Burton puking up all the CG color and eye candy he could. But the Cheshire Cat was stellar, and, again, I enjoyed what it had to offer visually.
Yeah for sure....Sweeny Todd gives me shivers all the way through, but that's only because it's so ******** good. *nerdynerdnerd* I love....I LOVE that movie. Way too much. o __ o;;;;;
Yeah, anyway...new material is always amazing. Gets me all fired up!!
Yeah as far as European melodeath, Dark Tranquillity, In Flames, Children of Bodom (more power metal but eh, they're foreign), Katatonia, Fear Factory, Sonata Arctica, Arch Enemy, and I don't even know if that's European melodeath mostly. I suck a** with genres and hate categorizing music more than I have to.
Dir En Gray and X Japan, too...I hate Japanese music mostly but those two bands kick a**.
Gimme some music!! I need more stuff to listen to!
And I watch all horror, campy or serious. I don't scare easily so not much freaks me out but I love the mood of serious horror movies...I'm a huge fan of Quarantine and the Paranormal Activity movies. <3 And s**t like the Exorcist movies and Mirrors, and zombie movies, I just loves watching them.
I'm into everything, but I really get nerdy when it comes to European metal, like Dark Tranquillity and In Flames. That's the best s**t EVER.
