EDIT:

Previously I stated that the tram passes where not free; that has changed. If you are attending all 4 days, you will get a free tram pass. Everyone else will have to pay $10 a day, or $25 for 3 days.

Those of you who are attending all 4 days and already bought tram passes, you will be getitng a refund from what I understand. However, I would double check in about a week-10 days and let them know if you haven't received it.

For those of you attending Anime Expo, I have some info for you that will save you some grief.

Firstly: The trams going between the convention enter and hotels now costs money to use. You no longer get free passes for registering a hotel through Expo, you will have to purchase them through the site or at the con, but the amounts are limited.

The tram will cost you $10 a day, $25 for 3 days or $30 for all four days. Check the "registration" area of official forums for additional information: http://www.anime-expo.org/forums/index.php?s=2c8f66cb349d46f8fb6dde74a2a995bb&showforum=13

Secondly: You no longer get a free event ticket for getting a sponsored hotel room either; You get the option to buy one at half-price. There are also rumors that AX Idol will be the only free event this year due to the renting of the Nokia theater, but I'm not sure if that's true.

And lastly: The deadline for any and all refunds, reservations, or changes is the 10th of June. So if you would like to get a hotel, buy tram passes/tickets, change your badge/reservation, or get a refund, you will have to do it before this coming Thursday.

After the 10th, the hotel requests will be submitted and you will have to cancel or change anything through the hotels themselves.

Hopefully, we saved you a little trouble. See you there.

Hey all. AX 4-day badge prices go up May 1st, so I'd think about buying soon if you haven't already. Also, you might wanna start checking out the AX site a little more often for updates and new hotel deals, because this is about the time when that starts happening.

Hey everybody! The metrolink how has a deal where 4 people can get an round trip ticket for only $29....that's $7.25 each! All you have to to is walk up to the ticket machine at any metrolink stop with 3 other people and Press the Friends and Family 4-pack button to get 4 tickets for almost $10 off the regular price.

So if you're coming to the AVAC Little Tokyo trip this Saturday, you might want to think about looking around here, our Facebook page, Myspace, or forums to find other people attending and make some plans so you can get in on this sweet deal.
