Delilah's Diary

Some not-so-frequently updated entries about life outside the Isle.

About myself

The name's Delilah. I'm 16 years old and I come from the sunny island of Gambino. Of course, it was this reason that I moved out of the island and into the city of Durem, about a few weeks before the vampire conflict. I wanted to see if I could lighten my tan a bit, but so far, it's in there deep. (Please, mind OUT of the gutter. -.-; ) I also moved to Durem to live the city life, where my father grew up many years before.

I got a job as a cleaner for Skin Tyte, cleaning all of the glass tables filled with piercings and make-up kits. I also have to sweep the floors every now and then, as well as mop up on worse days. However, I get a good discount off of tattoos with my job, and I can converse with my employers freely on my lunch breaks. Devin seems like a mellow guy. Natasha kind of scares me, though. *gulp*

You see this eye patch here? *points at her black eye patch* Once the vampire conflict started, a misfire occurred, and I found myself with a stake dashed in holy water protruding from my left eye socket.

People say I'm very brave to walk out of a traumatic experience that got me this eye patch and not let this smile of mine fade away. I guess I'm just... resilient. smile People also tell me that, for my age, I don't curse much, and I act a little more like a child than a teen. ... *sigh*

I just got started into anime. A friend of mine suggested this one series, "Sayonara Zetsubo Sensei." Ever since, I'm just hooked with J-entertainment. But every now and then, a Gaian show or program will catch my interest, along with the usual Saturday morning cartoons.
