As mentioned before, the Community Spotlight will be drawing attention to not just neat things happening in the community, but also important safety information. You know, all that boring stuff we have to remind you about every so often.

Today, we're reminding you not to buy Gaia Gold or items from other sites. In fact, you should never buy Gold, even from the Gaia forums or other members. Not only is it against our rules and a surefire way to get banned, but it also promotes annoying botters and shady con men. The last thing any of us want is nefarious robots and troublemakers running around spamming, hijacking accounts, and mucking everything up. We want this place to be fun and fair for everyone, with the exception of those ornery bots.

In short, please earn your Gold and items the old fashioned way, through any of the ample means already provided on the site!
