Harry Potter got the Marauder's Map from Fred and George, and on it he saw Peter Pettigrew just roaming around the castle. Peter Pettigrew is actually Ron's rat. Now, presumably, Fred and George have had the map for a while, what with all their sly tricks. So that means that for YEARS the saw a man named Peter Pettigrew in Ron's room every night and didn't say a word
