AboutFor those of you who searched me because of my name, I am certain you understand the relevance. For those of you who happened upon my profile at random, my name is taken from an Arab band called Tinariwen, which means Empty Places or Desert in Tamashek.
I don't really know why I joined Gaia; it was a fleeting whim I suppose. I like to read long books and manga, two contrasting concepts when you look at it as one consists primarily of pictures. However, when you get right down to it, both create an image in the reader's mind, one is just more direct, like watching a movie. My reading material consists of fantasy, fiction, the occasional sci-fi, historical, and medical books about nasty diseases and parasites. Eclectic yes, but so is my personality.
My taste in music is also rather unusual, ranging from classical to punk rock, with a smattering of varied genres and scores from movies I love in between. Labels are for the unimaginative. I like what I like.
I like roleplaying occasionally, though I rarely find anything inventive worth engaging in. If I do, it absolutely will not be highschool anything, most books, movies, or tv shows, because I believe they should be left intact unless the plot deviates from the actual events to the point where it has little to do with it, and generally stupid ideas. Use your imagination, or if you lack one, common sense. If you lack both, check that you are indeed homo sapiens, because if you don't, you might have degenerated into a sea sponge.
Now that you have pawed through some of my life's passions, you may have noticed I am a cynical, embittered, most likely introverted-emo-misanthropic person. This is not true. I am really a normal person who enjoys life, spending time with friends, pursuing my hobbies, and generally being demented. Aren't we all to some extent? Demented that is. My friends describe me as happy, hyper, moody, philosophical, sarcastic, cynical, (Alright, I am...) evil, insane, funny, (Don't know where they get that from) and short. Apparently I also have a mother complex. All these are perfectly accurate, except for the mother complex.
Thats all for now kiddies. If you are still reading this, you officially have no life and/or are a profile stalker. So shoo. Vamoose. There are a lot of things in life I love, like chocolate and perfectly sharpened pencils. There are also many things I hate. If you don't want to join that list, I suggest you slink off to whatever pit you crawled out of and never bother me again or risk incurring the wrath of Shiva and Pazzuzu, my lovely kittens. For those of you who need a touch up on their mythology, Shiva is the Hindu God of Destruction and Pazzuzu is the Assyrian God of Plague. Other than that, have a peachy day.
Feel free to contact me if your reason isn't stupid. I don't bite, much. >:3
