I have adopted the name Thysnia (Thiz-nee-uh) as some sort of solice for all the has not gone right in my life. It may sound foolish to some, but every now and then someone happens upon me who knows exactly what I am talking about in these next lines.
I won't sit here and complain about my many misfortunes like somehow my remarks will correct them, but I must confess... the hand I have been dealt in life has come to define the person that I am, and so I digress... My artistic expression is what I use to create a world in which things are so much more wonderful, at least until I can finally get a move on. In turn, Thysnia is the identity I wish to carry with me- the whimsical, musical, artistic, vocal, fiery, and most of all, tenacious spirit that is proud of who she is.
My given name is Genna, pronounced as Jenna. I am 18-years-old, a high-school graduate, and on-track to begin college for equine science next fall.
I have a variety of hobbies, none of which include video games or television shows, so I am very sheltered to those. Drawing, writing, singing, and one very concerned art teacher are what got me through high school. I spent most of my elementary years being moved from school to school, and in the process (I believe) I have lost the will to outwardly make friends. I am by no means shy, quite the contrary in fact- I excell at public speaking and putting my foot down, but I have never been much of a "people-person".
My other love is also the most recently discovered. One friend I did manage to make in high-school introduced to me to the horse world, and I quickly became infatuated with the art of horse and rider. After some unfortunate events I slowly fell away from the horses and currently I am unable to involve myself in it at all, but once I can reestablish myself, I plan to buy myself a saddle and get right back on.
As for a few other accents of mine, I get very excited about roleplaying, and most of all creating them. I try to involve myself in plot-lines that diverge from the usual, which can be both very entralling and disappointing when many don't catch enough interest. I have long desired to learn the violin, and currently the one I was gifted is only serving as a wall decoration. Soon after receiving it, I discovered Lindsey Stirling, a hip-hop/dubstep violinist whose music has all but saved my life. Call me silly, but her sound is the theme music to my endeavors.
I am very approachable, and enjoy random PMs, comments, or greetings when I am in towns. I have come back to Gaia mainly to roleplay, but I would love to make a few friends in the process as well. These days I mostly spend alone in my cousin's apartment hoping I'll eventually get to have a conversation with someone who gets it.
