Heroines do not have to have special powers, fly, or come from far away galaxies and become a city's crutch. A heroine can be a woman who, in her every day life, will help those in need or go out of her way to make someone feel welcome. To that person, she is their hero, the person that they will look up to and remember.

Heroines does not have to wear a costume, or fight evil on a day to day basis. She can be a mother, a sister, an aunt, a cousin, a grandmother, or even just a friend. If you need someone by your side -- to talk, to spend the day with -- if she's there, then like a hero, she will not let you down.
