Unfortunately it takes time to earn gold. You can earn it by posting in the forums, commenting people, doing polls in the forums,posting in your journal, posting in guilds, playing games (like jigsaw or zomg), playing cards or slots with tokens and getting tickets that you can sell in the marketplace for gold, getting lucky and buying items low in the marketplace and then selling them for a bit of a profit in the marketplace... that's all I can think of at the moment. Cabb has been active on gaia for awhile, plus I donated a few things to him that he used for a bit then sold and got something new. It takes time and dedication to earn gold. For example, I am on gaia every day. I do the daily chance and sell what I can from it, I post at least 10 times a day in the forums and at least 5 times in my guilds, I comment at least 5 times a day, etc. Oh to maximize your gold earnings when you post in the forums space out your posts. It is possible to post once a minute, but you earn more gold if you post once every few minutes. And if you post a bit then log off and come back on to post a few hours later that first post is worth more gold than if you'd posted immediately after your original post. If you don't feel like doing random chatting in the forums just go to a bump guild like the one I have linked to in my signature (it's on my profile on the left side; I'm a mod so I will approve you if you apply for it.) That guild also has a thread in the forums that I frequent. I'm sorry if this isn't making much sense and/or I'm overloading you with information.
