Have you considered the Gift of Goddess item? If you want, I can whip something up for you-- just give me the price limit and your absolute requirements and I'll see what I can do for you.

That is, if they get it in stock on time. Viz seems to be slow at shipping their books out in time for release dates...
But I hhoooooooppeee it'll be in stores on the fifth.

It was, because I was thrashing and yelling in pain. I like how jellyfish look-- to me, they're aesthetically pleasing, but other than that, I don't care much for them. Yes-- at a safe distance...a very far and safe distance. My favourite marine animal is the whale... there's not much known about them after three months from their birth, and after their deaths.

Winter is the best season to layer it up; I can walk out of the house with numerous scarves and the shirts that come down to my knees and could be mistaken for a dress. Something like this, but without the weird patterns.

My cat looked cute with a small collar on, but I could keep it on her since she didn't like it.

That's where I get most of my clothes-- before it was nothing but hand-me-downs.

Yes-- and when I got out of the water, the little bugger was still attached to my leg. I would hate to get stung by those Man-o-War jellyfish-- consumed is probably more like with those things. *shudders* Once you learn, it will be embedded into your brain for life-- it's one of those things that can't be forgotten. I prefer the salt over the chlorine-- it's also better for the skin. I was to visit Israel, where there's the Dead Sea; no living thing, not even plants, can live in those waters because of the massive amount of salt-- you'll just float, and it doesn't matter how far out to sea you go-- there's nothing in the water besides salt, and maybe a few rocks.

I love the autumn months-- it just means winter is coming soon! whee Now that I've changed my preference when it comes to clothes, I'm finding a lot of things I like-- I'm still attracted to bold, bright colours, but I can't buy them anymore.

I know; when we first put a collar on my dog, she was scratching at it-- but with time, they'll stop. It's their paws and it's easier to rip off the shoes than it is to take off a collar.

Fasting yes, but praying and reading from the Torah is what orthodox Jews do-- we're not orthodox, but generally that's what we're supposed to do.

I know, and I love it-- it's very big too. There's a store that sells really nice clothing, which appeals to my taste in style and in colour and I've been looking at their jackets and boots. I've liked what I've seen so far, and their stuff isn't too expensive, which is always a good plus.

I found them to be comfortable, but I guess it depends on the person. I do enjoy swimming-- numerous times I've been bitten by things, many of which were jellyfish. I do enjoy the pool; my aunt has one in her backyard and I went there for a swim. She uses salt instead of chlorine-- apparently salt is better than chlorine, and it's easier on the eyes. Just that I can't stand the taste of salt, and the first jump in the water guarantees me a mouthful of water. xD

I would say now is the best time for layers-- mid-September gets colder and it starts to rain a lot. October is the best month for layering clothing. Yes-- I like earthy tones, such as greens, browns and maybe an orange, but it has to be a dulled orange, with a mixture of brown. Also, I like to incorporate a little blue into my ensemble-- dark shades as well. I don't have much of a problem when it comes to colours-- since my preference is darker shades and colours, but I do understand how your wardrobe can end up being nearly one colour, or in your case, a shade. I find that I have a lot of blue articles and not enough green.

It can get pretty cold here, but I don't think it's necessary to make them wear coats-- I would say those little shoes or socks to keep the pads of their feet unfrozen, since that are is pretty much unprotected. Huskies wear them in the Arctic when traveling with their sleds and masters, but other than that, I don't think coats or sweaters are that practical.

It's just for one day-- I believe from sunrise to sun set. Usually, my family would go to a synagogue, but we're not religious/orthodox.

That would be tricky-- one of my umbrellas has a print of a Renoir painting, so I don't think I could find boots to match, whereas one umbrella is transparent. The only one I could match would be my navy blue one. But I'd like to find a muted green mixed with either grey or brown raincoat, and boots to match. I would have to find an umbrella to match as well. xD

I've seen many people were Crocs too-- and they're comfortable, but I would only wear them if I was going to the beach or using a public shower at a pool or at a campground. In regards to style-- I love to layer and wear monotone and/or earthy colours. I remember back in college how I would buy clothes that had bold, bright colours... I don't know what sparked the sudden change, but it's a lot easier on the eyes now than before. I don't like how owners dress their dogs-- or put nail polish on them, or in extreme cases-- dye their fur a different colour. I could never do that to my dog.

Yeah-- we have a lot of holidays, most of which fall in the school year. This upcoming Saturday is Yom Kippur-- which is a less festive holiday and we have to fast and atone for our sins.

I'm getting myself a rain coat and rain boots-- I'll take the extra money from my government loan and purchase those items-- after I pay my tuition fees. I have three umbrellas.

They do-- the front of the boot looks like it's webbed-- just like a duck's foot. I guess they're a hit and miss for people. I know for a fact for when I first got them, I didn't like them, but this was back in elementary school. Now, for some reason, I love how they look, and the colours are pleasing to my eye. Despite my dislike from them back then, they were comfortable and did keep my feet warm and dry. Either way is correct-- some add an extra 'n' in the middle, but all versions are correct. It lasts for eight days, and normally we don't get presents, as this holiday is to celebrate the gift of light, but it's been modernized, as with all holidays. Umbrellas are nice to look at-- I've actually started a small collection of them, but I'd rather have a rain coat for practical uses instead of something that's aesthetically pleasing and can keep you minutely dry.

Duck boots-- although the pair I used to have weren't exactly like these, but this is how they generally look. They're quite nice, and water-proof. I can manage with my dress boots, since they come up just below my knee and haven't taken in any water, but I'll be asking these, as well as a rain/autumn jacket and a few other things for Chanukah. It's a pain to carry an umbrella when my bag is full.

I'm a bargain hunter-- and even though this bargain was on the expensive side, as to what you said about untreated bags, I think I did quite well if I do say so myself. mrgreen

I've never owned a pair of rain boots, but I did own duck boots. I should also look for a rain/autumn jacket while I'm at it. I don't have anything that will protect me against rain and cold winds during the up-coming months. And wearing my heavy winter coat is out of the question; I'll die of heat stroke even before I get to school. Urgh, I hate when that happens. I made the mistake to wear shoes during the thawing weeks and when I got home, not only were my feet, socks, shoes and pants drenched, but my mood as well. I was a grouch at the end of that day.

There was also a sale too; the bag had been reduced from $112.67 to $99.99-- so I think it was good deal. And the sales clerk told me that it was untreated leather. I'm not familiar with the term, but I can guess that when it's untreated, it'll last longer. And the bag is made to look authentic and has as rustic appearance in it's minor details.

Museums don't allow pictures, but I can understand seeing as there are many factors as to why it's not allowed. I'd like a pair of galoshes, or rain boots, as well as another pair of dress boots. I'll definitely look in the salvation army stores when I get the chance.

Ah, I see now. Very clever. 3nodding

Yeah, so I decided if I need something of importance, like a bag, I'll get an expensive one so it will last longer than my other ones. Yes, it's real leather. I love the smell of leather.

I would love to have antique furniture-- especially in my future library. I do love the designs and all the intricate detail and planning that went into creating them. Are you familiar with art deco and art nouveau? That would be lovely to have! But I always tell myself, aside from no room, do I really want it or really need it. I can't help but think I want more than I need. I actually like cowboy boots, and considering in getting a pair someday... maybe with some spurs. xd

Ah, excellent! Where did you draw that name from?

I've always gotten those Tracker brands, and I ended up needing a new bag every semester; I either spilled paint on it, broken the zipper or the entire contents fell through the bottom (I don't know how that happened, but thank goodness I was at home when it did.) This is the bag I purchased.

I've found some really nice boots at the salvation army-- lovely dress boots, but I need to find some more insoles because the ones I have aren't that good anymore. I've found some pretty neat stuff, but I didn't end up buying them. I was tempted to buy a record player, but to my chagrin, I would have nowhere to put it. I'll go back eventually and see if it's still there. No, I've never collected antiques, but some of them do look nice-- I might be tempted to decorate my house with them. One of the things I'd like in my home would be a wall dedicated to African masks... even if I don't like Picasso.

I'm the same; the only time I buy expensive things is when I really need them. Today, I bought myself a bag for school that was over $100.00, but because I needed a bag, I got it. I also take good care of my stuff and because of this, I don't need to go out every year to purchase a new one because the old one wore out. But aside from needed items, I do like to indulge myself in things that I'd like to have, but I'm considerate about my situation and the budget I put myself on. If I don't have enough money for it now, I'll wait and get it another time.

Have you ever gone shopping at a salvation army store? I've been a couple of times and it's a gold mine in there. Some people don't realize what they're giving away.

I love that movie. My aunt borrowed it for her children, and I haven't seen it since. Whenever someone says "Be prepared", I think of that song Scar sings. It never fails to make me laugh and look like a complete idiot.

Hey, if you're good at your job, air plane tickets won't be that expensive.

I have the movie on VHS. It's still in good condition, so I don't have to look for a DVD copy just yet. My favourite is 101 Dalmatians; I love the music from that movie.

Haha, no problem.

A photojournalist can do a concert coverage too! There's so many things you can do with photography and journalism... that would be an amazing career.

Maybe not one as big as that one, but big enough that it's comfortable so that we're not dwarfed by the room. sweatdrop Knowledge is power and all, but I don't want to sit in a room where that saying is put into a literal sense.

It was hard, but we're able to get past that speed bump and make good use of the critiques. It takes time, and I'm sure you can do it. No need for body modifications.
