The Man in the Gimp Suit

[u]RP Sample:[/u]

The had vanished pas the horizon and the shimmering, gold and violet veil of twilight set in over the quiet countryside. A quaint little one-bedroom farm house stood beneath the outstretched arms of a timeless oak tree, whose twisted and wandering limbs shook their tiny green tipped tendrils in the wind. The sound of rustling leaves against the otherwise soundless rose up like thunderous applause as the countless stars made their entrance onto the dark stage of the night sky.

"You'd never see stars like this back in the city..." a young man, quiet as the night itself, sat reclined in an old wooden rocking chair in the corner of the deck of the farm house.

"You'd be lucky to see any stars back in the city," a little girl sat, knees against her chest, beside the rocking chair, back to the front of the house. "you'd never get this kind of silence in the city either."

"..." a long pause, in the wind left the two drowned in silence. Minutes passed like hours as the two gazed at the shimmering eyes of the night sky.

"Do you..." the young man started to speak, but stopped himself for a moment. He looked with pursed lips and furrowed brow at the girl beside him, her gaze still fixated intently at the stars in the sky.

"..." the girl glanced back the the young man as his eyes darted back tot he sky, and then back to the girl yet again. " 'Do I' what?" The young man let a faint smile overtake his lips as he stood up from his place in the rocking chair to step forward and lean against the banister of the farmhouse porch.

"Do you suppose I did the right thing?" The young man let his eyes waver their focus, so that while he faced the night sky, his attention seemed fixed upon some much more distant vision. "Was coming all the way out here the right thing to do, or am I just a coward?"

"Don't talk like that..." the girl frowned and sulking, buried her face in her knees. "You've done nothing wrong. You did what any sane man ought to have: you sat by and watched terrible things happen around you and chose to have nothing to do with it, and when a lot of horrible men came around to change your mind, you didn't let them."

"But my friends..." the man murmured.

"You're not responsible for the choices they made!" the girl snapped "You tried to help them and they turned their backs on you!" the man cringed and grasped tightly at his sleeves

"But still, I could have-"

"Look at me!" the girl jumped to her feet and tugged the man to turn around and face her, "You have me! When everyone else rejected your help as pity, I took it as a blessing!" The girl's eyes began to well up with tears, "So why is it you can't just be happy that you still have me?!"

"..." the man's eyes too began to gloss over with tears and he took the girl in his arms, holding her head against his chest, as they cried silently together on the porch of the old farm house under the arms of the timeless oak tree, under the watch of the starlit sky.

(Sorry this was kind of melodramatic, and also a bit short, I just went with whatever came to mind first and ended it where it seemed most appropriate, rather than try to make it especially long.)

I'm not terribly picky about where I wind up. Go ahead and let everyone else pick first, and I'll just take whatever seats are left over, and if all 26 captain level roles are taken, I'd be just as happy to settle for a lieutenant position. Just go ahead and put me where ever is most convenient.

[u]How can you help the guild outside the rp:[/u]

I could always donate gold when I've got some to spare if need be. I might be able to help in orchestrating plot points if you intend to plan a distinct story line of the guild to follow. I guess it also helps to note I'm sort of an eating, sleeping, breathing, Bleach encyclopedia; so if anyone ever needs some weird obscure detail(s) about the continuity of the manga patched up or clarified, I'd be the guy to look to for

Kai laughed to himself as he watched him. "He must have been tired." Kai still sat awaiting for someone to present themself to him as his captain so he can introduce himself. "Kai wondered to himself. Was that guy part of our squad? If so then we need more squad members because I don't see many as it is. Why am I even here I need a mission or something because this whole squad thing is boring. I can't even detect who is our vice captain if we even have one." Kai lazily laid back to look up at the sky. Speaking softly he said, "If this is the life of a shinigami then I wouldn't have become one." The wind blew softly brushing against his skin. THe air filled with a sweet scent. Peace was spread as Kai dosed off.

Kai walked into the barracks marveled by its eloquence. He has alone within its beauty. Serenity filled the place. The water was sparkling outside and the birds chirped. The aroma of spring flowers blossoming breezed around gently. "So much for a welcoming committee." Kai laughs to himself. Being the newest member of squad 5 he felt distant from their walls. In a sulking way Kai walks over to the water by the barracks. He places his zanpaktou down next to him and sits down to enjoy to sparkling view. "Gah, I wish there some action," Kai says looking up at the blue clear skies.

After observing the scenery Kai gets up to look around some more. He looks toward the center of the pond. Kai steps out and walks toward the pond; the water gently brushing by his feet as he steps out into the center. He sits down to meditate. Kai murmurs his incantation softly, "Pull me to heaven, and deliver your vengeance to my enemies. Show them the power of the North Wind." Kai begins to float softly above the pond. The water in the float begins to spiral beneath Kai sending it brimming over the edges. At the water splashes against the edges it’s also lifted. The splashing water sparkled in the air giving an angelic mood to the atmosphere.

Still using Senpuu Hiyaku, Kai floats back over to the ground surrounding the pond. The water dulls back to a calm pond. He inhales a breath of air then closed his eyes and exhaled slowly retaining his composure. Kai pick’s up Minta. Minta speaks to him telepathically, “Was that really necessary?” “Of course,” Kai replies. “I supposed to be skilled with kidou so I have to train right?” Minta snips back at Kai, “You wouldn’t need your kidou as much if you had your shikai; bankai if you’re lucky.” “Hmmph, who asked you. You’re such a drag.” Kai sharks back. He walks back into the barracks. All is still calm as before; Kai takes a set by I the lobby. He shuts his eyes and waits patiently for his follow squad members to show.

This is the sample rp for the crew position(I wrote it based on one of my characters in a naruto rp):

In life I was a normal ninja.... well... except the whole thing with becoming a rogue and joining 5 other villages... but thats a different story. The story I wish to tell now is of my life. It starts in the village I was born in... The village of Konoha. I was born into the "famed" Hyuuga Family. I was seen as "the best of the best" and with that escaped the seal used on my Cadet family counterparts. I was trained by my father and the other Main branch family elders making me powerful. I learned quickly and was above average for my age. I entered the academy at age 8 and graduated at age 10. I was a prodigy like my long dead grandfather, Neji... But in spite of all of this my father saw me as disloyal to the family for being so laid back and disrespecting him at times.

They made me train harder and harder everyday. I did Jutsus until my heart fluttered from the stress. And on top of that My father would make me fight him every night until I passed out from weariness. I was forced into the Chuunin Exams when I was 13 and I won every round. The only thing keeping me from the harsh training and beatings was the team I was put into. I was under the guidance of my sensei, Kazukame. He was a kind man but a deadly swordsman. He always knew what was bothering me. Though I was bitter towards my family he seemed to understand why. I found a sanctuary in him and my teammates, Yajuu Momori and Serenity Uurabey. They were always kind and sweet to me. This was breaking the shell I had around my life. They taught me to enjoy life and see things as they were. I was always coming to them after my father got through with me after the missions. I usually had bruises and cuts on me or a limp that gave my problems away to them. Kazukame-sensei asked me one day about them. I told him and he became angered until his face turned red. He told me not to worry and all my pain would be gone soon. He then walked off into the village. That night Kazukame came to me and told me to come with him to his house. and that I was to live with him. He informed me that the Hokage had approved of his idea to protect me from my abusive father. I went home with him to his apartment and for the first time in my life i felt safe. But... That feeling soon faded.

I was awoken by the sound of clashing metal. I ran from my small room into the living room where Kazukame-sensei was fighting my father. i watched on as the two men fought bitterly over none other than myself. Kazukami was fierce with his blade and my father was also fierce with weapons but not with the blade. He favored the use of the double Wakazashi to slay his opponents using one for defence. My father fought mercilessly trying to kill my sensei with every blow he possibly could. The fight waged on for what seemed like hours leaving me too stunned to take action. I stayed there in the room watching the fight, my legs locked with fear. As I stood there I realized that my sensei was fighting for my freedom, my father for my “usefulness”… it was then a bitter hatred for my father rose out of all the pain he had caused me to feel for the years… It was then my sensei knocked the blades from my fathers hands leaving him almost helpless… . My sensei was a man of justice. He didn’t kill my father as he was kneeling down on one knee waiting for death’s cold embrace. He spared him and told him the Hokage would deal with him later but for now to leave and never come back.It was then that my father took the way of a coward. My father took the chance he had when my sensei lowered his weapon to stab a kunai right through Kazukame-sensei’s heart.

I saw him die and with his last moments came the memories of my father and how he used me for his own sick purpose… I felt my heart beat faster, my adrenaline rush as my eyes became red with anger. I burst out of my room and lashed out at my father wit

rp sample: (copy and paste of one of my posts from another RP. its from a mega-crossover RP set in the world of SSBB, the guard is an NPC)
As he rounded the corner, Snake noticed an open vent shaft at the floor. He dropped prone and crawled backwards into the vent just in time to avoid the guards as the passed by. Just then he heard voices coming from the other end of the vent. (insert convo from previous persons post here) Hmm? sounds like that Sephiroth guy that Genesis mentioned plans to betray him. Maybe I can use this to my advantage... After the guards in the hall gave up their search and returned to their posts, Snake crawled out and turned around, making his way further down the vent. Soon he found an opening which seemed to be the room the voices had come from. it looked like their was a desk over the vent, so he crawled out under the desk and scanned the room from there. hmm, that guy with the cigarette seems to be the only person in the room. Looks like an officer. He must have been the one giving the orders... As soon as the man turned his back to the desk, Snake crawled out and sneaked up behind him, grabbing him in a chokehold from behind and holding his knife to the mans throat. "I overheard you mention that Sephiroth doesnt seem to trust Genesis. Tell me everything you know. Now."

rp sample: This is my usual posting. I diddnt want to send more than nessisary sooo..

Tanya peered around the corner feeling guilty for missing her captains wedding. In her hands she held a medium sized box, something that she had made herself. She watched Aylin move across the floor with her father and she smiled. It had been years since she had danced like that with her father and she knew what it felt like. Their legs moving in union and feeling as if she were dancing on clouds. She then opened the box to look at what was inside and felt slightly guilty again. She placed the gift on a table with the rest, her standing out from the rest. She had chosen a crisp white wrapping paper for a nighttime black box and the ribbon that held it all together was purple ribbon. She smiled and tried to move about the rest of the company. She desperately looked around for a familiar face, one from the Meiyo family or possibly Morgan Shouri, but she quieted herself.

She even dressed up for her captain. She wore a soft yellow dress that cut short around her knees and it had spaghetti straps. It was soft and comfortable but she still felt odd walking around. There was a small yellow flower in her thick black hair and she put a light layer of make-up on to highlight her eyes and lips She wore a light shawl to cover the scars on her arms but she couldn't do anything about the one on her face and collar bone. She grabbed some red punch and sipped it as if it would make her belong, and she continued to look around for a face. her feet were light against the floor and the only sounds she seemed to make came from her dress. She sat down on a small chair with white cushions and black polished wood when she saw a few couples dancing around in the crowd.

Everyone looked so happy so she tried her best to look so too. She smiled when others said hello and she talked with a few quickly looking back at her captain. She truly looked beautiful today, and she hoped this glow would last forever for her.

what slot do you want: Slot as in squad? Squad 11 if possible please and thank you.
how can you help the guild outside the rp: I can donate for any more sub-forums if needed, I will keep in touch with you for storyline and plotting along with anything you ask me to do for the guild.
why should you get the position over someone else: I believe I would make a suitable captain because of my RP skill and my sense of order. I like to keep a firm grip on my people but I'm not against having fun either. I will do anything asked of me from the guild captain and the captain commander in the RP.
