Ahah , but yes , I love him .I have already played several of Preludes and Fugues ( n° 15 , n°10 and n°24 ) . I think it ' s sad that he isn 't as much known with the younger generation . I have an exam today in 2 hours (that ' s why I will log off after this ) but sadly I won 't be playing any Shostakovitch . It ' s Bach this time. I love him too , since the both of them are a bit like father and son XD.

By the way , I didn 't forget about the recording , it ' s just so hectic those days @__@.

Sometimes this website makes me feel "old" every time I come across 13-17 year olds.

Yeah, you could say that, but I think it's important to not use them interchangeably for the sake of people with the disorder. By telling people that it's just shyness, they often assume it's something one can simply "get over", when it's not as easy as that. For example, in school, if I was struggling with a subject or had to give a presentation, I would often take the failing grade than ask the the teacher for help out of fear of confrontation. In a less finer moment of my life, I actually broke down in a class of 30+ kids during a debate, tears and everything, because the teacher essentially told me to "get over it" and take the plunge (which was awful 'cause she saw it as me being "unprepared" and gave our group a lower grade). I guess it feels like the entire world is judging your every move, when shyness is just a fear of embarrassment or awkwardness. I suppose people who are shy often find it easier to put their fears aside and do what needs to be done, when people with social anxiety, without the proper help, end up avoiding it as much as possible.

I want to say I posted on and off again in 2006 because I remember switching between WG and the GD a lot, but I don't think
WG became my home forum until about mid-to-late 2007. You?

I keep remembering so many faces...er, avatars that I don't see any more. It's kind of sad.
Also, I used the wrong word. It's more of an anxiety issue that bleeds over from "real life" onto the internet rather than shyness.

I only use skype when my one friend asks to video skype b/c I HAAAAAATEEEEEEEEE skype. xD I get bombarded by my one friend anytime I go on there lol... :c
