"Well now you know." Sarah Jane smiled before hearing her request. "Well it would be better with a visual aid. Come on, let's go get help from Mr. Smith." Grabbing the tray with the warm tea, the cookies and biscuits and all the other fixings for tea, Sarah Jane led the way up to the attic once more. Once inside, she set the tray down on the small table in front of the couch in the room.
"Mistress, do you require the tea to be warmed?" K-9 asked as he rolled over to them.
Sarah Jane felt the teapot before nodding. "Please, K-9. Just warm it up enough that the tea isn't blistering hot."
K-9 extended the nozzle from within his nose, aimed it, and emitted a beam from it to the teapot for a few moments. Stopping the beam, the nozzle retracted back within his nose. "How is your refreshment now, Mistress?"
Sarah Jane poured the tea into her cup, seeing steam come up from the liquid. Fixing her tea, she took a small sip and smiled. "Perfect. Thank you, K-9. Good boy."
K-9's satellite ears moved back and forth as he moved around in a small circle to show his happiness before wheeling over and resting by Sarah Jane's feet.

Sarah Jane took the iPhone and added her number into Tara's contact list. "I love the charm... It's cute." She handed her her iPhone back. "Yes, I saw that website as well. Unfortunately, when that invasion with the plastic mannequins happened, that's when the owner of the website was killed. But a good friend of mine, another companion of the Doctor's and Martha's husband, took over the website duties to help spread the word in his own way. Now as for starting, Rani and Clyde should be back from school in a couple of hours along with Sky. So what do you want to do until then?"

"Do you have a cell phone so I can put your number in as well? And yes I'll let you help... BUT! If it gets too dangerous at any time, please heed what I have to say and follow it." She smiled to her. "Well it sounds like we may have to trade websites so we all can stay in the know when it comes to looking for rumors about alien sightings and investigate." She held up her teacup in the air. "Welcome to the team, Tara Astra."

Sarah Jane laughed. "Well you do remind me of a child on Christmas Day all excited and ready to open their presents." She smiled, eating a cookie. "Well, next time Luke comes around or Sky is home, I'll give you a call. Which, speaking of... Do you want to become part of the group? If so, I'm going to need a number to contact you by in case I need your help." She handed Tara her cell phone. "As long as it's all right because I don't want you getting into trouble with your mother."

"Sorry if I'm letting you know too much for your mind to process at the moment." Sarah Jane looked a little sheepish before laughing a bit at Tara's comment about their childhoods. "Well that's the thing... They never had a childhood. Truthfully, Luke is only 5 years old and Sky... She came to me as an infant dropped on my doorstep and then when a member of the alien race she was made to destroy came near her, she grew into a pre-teen on the spot. So technically they're still having their childhoods. They just LOOK 18 and 13 is all. Confusing, I know... But that's how it is. Besides, saved me from a lifetime of diapers for the time being." She laughed at the thought.

"Torchwood... They're like UNIT but more hands-on in situations like this and research as they go along. They're... less in attitude and wanting to destroy aliens than UNIT until they know the situation." Sarah Jane tried to think of another way to explain it for a few moments. "Think of UNIT as temper tantrum kids with weapons and Torchwood as older more responsible teens... with guns and better hacking skills." She smiled lightly. "The head of the team used to be a companion to the Doctor as well. He-" She paused for a moment, smiling and shaking her head. "He's in a class all his own." She chuckled a bit before looking to Tara once more. "A lot of people know about aliens but there are a few groups of people like myself and my group here, Torchwood and UNIT... and you that actually pay attention." She smiled and gently held Tara's hand. "Luke and Sky were created by alien races, Luke to help enslave the human race and Sky to commit genocide on another alien race. Both would have been destroyed once their work was done and myself and the others saved them. They didn't have a place to go and if other people find out like UNIT about them, they would never see the light of day again. I couldn't let that happen, so I adopted them." She smiled, taking her hand back and sipping some of her tea.

Oh nothing...just rewatching some episodes of a favorite anime and crying my bleeding eyes out.

No seriously, my face is still wet. Stupid episode and fic get me every time and I keep coming back.

I'ma making a fruit pizza tomorrow. :] And it's gonna be delicious.
