History: Born into the picture perfect traditional family, Chiyoko was raised mainly by her mother while her father spent most of his time inducting her older brother into the “family business.” Despite the three year difference, she was particularly close to her brother, Akio. She clung to him and called him “Strongman Akio.” In some ways, he played the part of father figure to her.
When she was still young, Chiyoko’s mother died in a car accident. After the incident, her father left her in the care of a man he introduced as Uncle Isamu. She saw less and less of Akio, and her already distant father was a rare sight on any day other than her birthday until she turned sixteen.
On her sixteenth birthday, Chiyoko spent the evening out with her friends in Kabukicho—in spite of warnings from Isamu, the three girls snuck into a host club with the help of one the girls’ older brother. Harmless enough, the girls pooled their money and sought a couple of hours with a mildly attractive, young host. All was well, until Chiyoko stepped outside on her own for a little fresh air.
A short conversation took place between her and an older gentleman, that evening. Chiyoko then, unfazed, returned to her friends and appeared to return home with them. It was the last time anyone had seen her for almost two years. It was after that, that a new hostess club opened its doors in Kabukicho—Shimmer. It was then, that Chiyoko resurfaced. But, she was now Hitomi, the most desirable hostess employed at Shimmer.
