you must add them to the trade box by clicking on them and selecting how many of it you want to add to the trade. they are at the "games" blue thing (Like your hats are on the one that there is a hat, the shirts in the shirt, the pants on the pants, the shoes on the shoe and so on...)

you need to enter your gaia password on the trade box, otherwise gaia don't authorize the trade. I supose that is it they were asking you...
