Which thread was...OH that thread. Hahah, yeah. People like that annoy me, it's like they should buy a brain or something on ebay.
And yes, I love quotes. Like I say all the time to people who ask about them, gaia is lucky I can't find my quotianary or I'd be testing the limits of the about me page.
I just...dislike the stupidty of people needing to be labelled to fit in. I'm human, I'm nothing more, nothing less. I have physical and mental traits that descripe me and can not be pigeon holed into some label or stereotype for someone's convience. I relate more to 'goths' because they apparently follow the darker side of things and I'm quite morbid at times. Other then that, I'm not goth or anything but human.
My son's actually playing in front of me right now so yeah, it's not too hard. It can get difficult at times but we had our hang-out time this morning and will have more after dinner. So meh. He's content to play by himself and watch me do things on the computer. And I'm busy doing college stuff so it's not like I can just turn off the computer and not do my homework.
Yes, I am super human. razz and I love rant comments. They make my day.

Sorry if I abruptly left the conversation in Kitty's. I hadn't heard from you so I assumed you left. Therefore, I left.
I live in Maryland now, but I was born in Russia and had lived there for the first 9 years. I remember it vividly, and miss it at times too. Though, after 15 years of being away from it, I think it's changed tremendously, and it kind of makes me not want to visit it, so I can just keep my good memories. The candies you describe are pretty much like that with paper wrapping. I save the wrappers xD
I miss Russian food and I go there to get like borcht or perogies, some rye bread. I think you would enjoy it because some German food is much like Russian. Lots of sour cream on everything. And I'd agree with you on the American portions. Everything is large because they feel that they have to fill up the whole dinner plates. Also, in Russia there is this "sharing" notion where you share your food with company or friends and family. Not so much in the US.
