Um... you are not the person I thought I was commenting on. This should be embarassing for me, but mostly I'm just confused.

And now I'm probably confusing you, sorry 'bout that. Ignore everything.

I met her a couple of times but it didn't lead anywhere, so I dunno. Kinda committed as it is but she was nice.

And probably wednesday...

Why do YOU want to have children?

Hmm, that's something I never understood, but I'm sure my attitude toward them was ruined by abuse I fell prey to as a child. Just a couple weeks ago I congratulated my friend for being a breeder because she's highly intelligent and a good mother; seems most breeders are messed up boors and thimblewits.

Not nearly as many people have kids or want them as they used to. Well, I suppose that depends on demographics: here in the affluent and culturally advanced West Coast the birth rate has dropped. Do you want kids? I'm undecided, myself.

Well, that's a shame, because people who chase after stuff end up dying not knowing who they are and not having ever really known what they were doing, and so they die with regrets. it's amazing that people in poorer countries are often more happy and have better relationships than we do, who have it all, and it shows those of us who are willing to learn what suckers we've allowed ourselves to be in order to increase the wealth of manipulative exploiters. Which is pretty much what that boils down to.

I think it's a shame how materialism has managed to infiltrate our notions of security and happiness, to the point where decent and interesting guys are dismissed because they aren't chasing the American Dream. And, obviously this modality of choosing partners is working rather poorly, considering how shoddy most relationships are and how many of them end in divorce or worse.

I find that the older people get the more narrow-minded and judgmental and even shallow they get. In my age group if you don't have a nice job and a car you're considered a loser and not worth dating by anyone except some snaggle-toothed crack whore. Seriously, it's rather annoying.

Wow. I always loved redheads and strawberry blonds. I'm technically a strawberry myself but my hair has darkened over the years and it doesn't really show until the summer or in certain lighting conditions.

Over 95% of twelve-year-olds would be insufferable to over 95% of nineteen-year-olds. And, well, for some of us most people of any age aren't very appealing.

I'm much more liberal than you are, but I suppose you may agree that other factors are more important when it comes to romance. I mean, I like my girls to be compatible, interesting, as well as decent and attractive to me.

Is that you're real hair color? I'm about to start singing Cockles and Mussels! lol I'm guessing nineteen.

Age is something I actually go out of my way to refuse to care about or think about. I think a lot of people are very different and that it's a silly thing to base friendship and romance on. I blame it in part on youth-obsessed media and marketing and in part on holdover backward conservative mores. I will guess, though, if you'd really like me to — would perhaps be interesting to see how far off I am. Though that profile pic doesn't really give me the best idea. I'm thirty-six, and here's what I look like. *dies of embarrassment*

Old enough for you to flip out that you're talking to, probably. sad Since that age business seems to be an important thing to most people.
