It was finally here, the Star Festival; the most beloved event in the entire Mushroom Kingdom. People probably loved it so much because it was only held once every hundred years. All the residents of the Mushroom Kingdom showed up to this special occasion: Toads, Yoshis, Shy Guys, Goombas, Koopas, any type of species you could imagine was there, including the select few humans living in the kingdom. This included a certain Titian-haired princess that went by the name Daisy.
Orange heels clanked noisily against the paved roads as Princess Daisy sprinted to the Castle Gardens located directly outside of the large castle that ruled the wonderful kingdom. A large grin was spread across the tomboy's round face as she hurried to get to the celebration, the feeling of excitement overcoming her. After waiting for so long, it was here! It was finally here! When she was a little girl she always dreamed of going to the Star Festival with her mother and father. Unfortunately, her mother passed away years ago and her father was far too busy with Sarasaland's affairs to be bothered by this "trivial event". Though a little disheartened, Daisy refused to let that bring her down. Besides, she still had a family member to share this celebration with; her cherished older cousin, Princess Peach Toadstool, ruler of the Mushroom Kingdom. Plus the famous Mario Brothers would mostly be with the princess duo, as well.
But once Daisy reached her destination and wandered around, there was no sight of her blond cousin or the mustachioed plumbers. Oh, well. They were probably just running late or Peach most likely just got kidnapped ... again. The flower princess couldn't help but roll her eyes and smirk at the thought. Peach always got kidnapped, while she herself only got kidnapped once in her whole lifetime. She felt proud of herself for not playing the 'Damsel-in-Distress' role. As she looked all around throughout the whole gathering, she noticed shooting stars falling from the sky and onto the ground. In them were shiny, multicolored star-shaped bits called, obviously, 'Star Bits'. All the younger kids loved them. One bundle fell down near Daisy's feet, three different colored Star Bits bouncing the ground. She bent down and picked up one, examining it carefully before popping it into her mouth. Mmm, it tasted good! They were like small clutters of honey.
Without any amount of grace, Princess Daisy plopped herself on the ground with her knees up, resting her arms on them and looking up at the starry night sky with hope glimmering in her sapphire hues. "Something good is gonna happen tonight ... I just know it."

Ha ha, thanks! But I'm good now, so no more need to rant. x3~! But okay, if you're sure about it! I just love Fallen Wish. It's positively gorgeous. <3

By the way, sorry I haven't gotten to a starter yet! I'm kinda lazy. xD I gotta send you and my Luigi one! =P I'll get to it soon, don't worry! ^~^;

Luigi smiled and took the cup of tea, sipping it softly, he felt his health slowly returning. "Ahh.. thank you Princess.." he said gratefully. "Listen.. I-a need you to promise me something," he said quietly setting the cup aside for a moment. "If something happens.. when-a I can't beat the bad guys.. you need to run.. take-a Cherry and run as fast as you can.. leave me behind.. you two are-a more important.. okay?" he asked, looking into her eyes.

Luigi roused when he smelled the food, his eyes opening. "Hoo hoo.. that sure was a doozy.." he said weakly, looking around, apparently in some sort of bedroom. "Are you and Miss Cherry okay?" he asked, concerned. The little girl was important. At least so Luigi was told. He cleared his throat and eased himself to sit up, wincing in pain. "And you.. Princess.. you're-a.. far too pretty to be hurt.." he said, but instantly squeaked and looked away. Was Luigi.. flirting? He must have been hit hard on the head for him to have said something like that.

Luigi groaned a bit, hearing Rosalina's soft voice. For a split second he had assumed he died, the beauty of Rosalina only amounted to her being an angel. "I'm... okie dokie.." he said, giving her a thumbs up before falling back into unconsciousness. Though he was hurt.. the threat was over for now... all Luigi needed was a mushroom or two, and some rest... but seeing that The Princess was safe.. that was all that mattered to him, he had done his job, protecting her.
