What I did was found a couple of items that looked kind of pirate-y to me, then I mashed a bunch of other items together until I found a combination I liked.

"Nothing" is a relative term, MN supposes. As for what jobs, his two primary ones are web designer and piano teacher. The former is both incredibly tedious and mildly rewarding (aside from the money, which is, of course, sort of a necessary evil in the civilized world), the latter is often frustrating (some of these people have a shorter attention span than MN, and MN has trouble finishing his sentences in real life ~_~) and occasionally very rewarding. There is nothing in this world better than music, and if people can deal with having their kids work with a heliophobic misanthrope, the least he can do is try to introduce them to his unique perspective on music. Some of them get it, some of them do not, some of them get annoyed and quit... but 'tis worth it for the bright ones, the ones that manage to figure things out on their own. He occasionally wonders if his viola teacher has some of the same frustrations with him.



Also Holy Zurvan, that is a monster of a profile comment. He gets carried away when he starts talking about music, he supposes. Responding to the second part, glad to hear about your classes (and probably about the puppy :3nod), really sorry to hear about your having fibromyalgia. He knows little-to-nothing about the illness, but it sounds bloody awful, to understate the matter. MN thought migraine was unpleasant, but sounds like your pain dwarfs anything he can imagine at this point. He would send you a "get well soon" card, but from what he understands, this is not exactly something that you just "get over" on the spur of the moment. Good luck anyway, though.

Well, hello again, already. It has indeed been a while; while MN still manages to get on once in a while, his activity levels on Gaia have dropped significantly over the last few months, as he is certain you have noticed. As for what has been happening... well, pretty much nothing whatsoever. Still writing, still composing music, and still working several drastically different jobs at once; other than that, getting in a small amount of gaming here and there, and occasionally a massive wave of it when off-duty. Good shtuff overall.
