Sorry, I haven't been on in a while, and work has been picking up a little bit since November, so I never got a chance to wish you a happy birthday for earlier this month!
Hopefully you had a grand time and enjoyed your special day! I'm still sorry that this was very belated, I'm not good at keeping time! sad

Haha true, stranger things have happened though! Although not in my experience, can't say I can ever recall a gaia emergency!

Oh right, Halloween is right around the corner! I just forgot about it, I'm sure it falls on a Saturday night so I'd be working regardless so no chance of me hunting out a costume! Well no doubt your costume looks exceptional, you always seem to put in the blood, sweat and tears into making it! No doubt I will have fun fiddling around with it, I believe I'll have to make a scabbard for the sword, don't think it would be a bright idea walking down the street with me waving it in my hands after all! sweatdrop

The only plus they have is Iceland is top of the group and they've played some decent football, so we'll find out tomorrow night what happens. Can't say I'll be watching it though, I'm more interested in watching the Wheelchair Rugby World Cup! lol They hosted the actual rugby world cup over here this year, so we've actually had people from South Africa, New Zealand, Tonga, Samoa and the Scottish visiting Newcastle, sadly I've been too busy and couldn't go across to enjoy the atmosphere, but they seemed to love the city while they were here!

Yeah, I know the feeling, Facebook for me is just replying to messages and seeing what is going on in people's lives and then I log off. I actually seen a video on there today of someone at the New York Comic Con, he made his own Hulkbuster costume from the Avengers movie, he blew everyone away with how amazing it looked! I'm totally jealous, although I couldn't see myself working on something for 40 hours, let alone 1,600 hours! lol

Haha, yeah that is me, apologies galore! But yeah I had read you had been on a hiatus and I had no idea when you had got back / how long you had been around! I usually just check every now and again for messages and that, I haven't been that active on gaia myself to be fair!
It was a change being busy, but now I'm more or less back to normal, everyone is back from either being sick or having holidays, which isn't so bad, gives me time to focus on attempting to get my costume sorted for Comic-con in November, I've ordered bits and pieces, just waiting for them all to arrive now, should still be a few more weeks!

I agree, I think they even struggled against Kazakhstan the other day, meaning that they need to win their last game and hope Iceland beat Turkey in the last game, otherwise they won't get a chance to qualify for the championships next year!

I just read you were thinking of quitting gaia, I've thought about it myself, but I'll always find a reason to come back. But after you've been gone a while it just seems easy to forget about it all, if you do decide to quit and I don't get to see you before then, you still know how to keep in touch though, at least I hope!

Hope that you're keeping well! And hopefully Netherlands start picking up some points in the European Championship qualifiers, they were shocking in their last two matches! sad
