It's not that hard when you're grinding, really. Even more so if you're crewing. The only areas you'll need to crew for are SS / EB (Shallow Seas leads to End Boss) and DMS.
Since you're over 5 you can farm PS for orbs if you want or aren't interested in the quests (though I'd do the quests...).

DMS, the new area, is rather difficult though.

They're both the same thing? It's really more of a new instance than a new area. Only 10+ though, so you'll need to level up before that.

They added a new area for once you get past EB.
