Thats so stupid >.< You need lights when you study. My dad stayed in a dorm for one year before getting his own place because he liked to play trumpet and he was always doing an all nighter (he was in med school). You gonna go for art?

My college doesn't have dorms (Community College). I still live with my parents (I'm only 18 lol). I sometimes wonder what dorm life is like, but I don't I would like it if I got a stupid annoying room mate.

College is okay, very different. The teachers leave you to do your own work meaning not much homework but you do HAVE TO STUDY. I have western civi 2 (I took one last year) and our tests are you pick one question and you have to write an essay on it in class. The catch: you can't have your materal in front of you, its all from memory. He gives us the questions a week ahead of the test so its fine. Its not that bad if you have your outline and memerize it.

Its really not that bad once you get use to it. Its just a different way of learning then high school. I love college a lot anyways, but I miss the socializing I got in high school. College, if you don't stay in a dorm most of the time, is kinda lonely to me.
