Haha, but it's been a while, man. How've you been?

As for Flash, Adobe's discontinuing the product by the end of 2020, so other than "legacy" client projects, I don't do anything serious using Flash anymore.

Adobe AIR + AS3, however, I'm still using, mainly for desktop apps and Android. I also got into JavaScript more, specifically using the Phaser game library for HTML5 game dev. I got into a Nanodegree program for Android, for free on a scholarship, offered by Udacity. I released a game on the Google Play Store called Thunderjack!. And I took complete a course on Unity for 2D game dev. Not doing anything professional with Unity at the moment, but I was curious about it.

Started my own blog, started lifting weights, started reading books on business and personal development, I've been a busy bee. What about you... what have you been up to?

Oh, and I was on your profile, and your marvelous Flash doesn't load anymore. At least not on my Chrome browser. Using 57.0.2987.133. It loads fine on FIrefox, though.

Isn't the same animation strip also used for Gaia's other flash spaces such as towns, rally etc? I don't see why it'd be removed. surprised

Btw! Here's a zOMG! fan game I made When zOMG! was taken down. The preloader is screwed up cause flash doesnt give you the option to test it anymore. sweatdrop

Particularly your use of avatars in your swf. I've only just started making flash based zOMG! fan games and it would've been really nice if I could let people play as their own avatars. Could you help me figure out how to link to people's avys in AS3? I went through your code but couldn't understand how to reproduce it as AS1 is alien to me. gonk

I managed to put a little time into the comments and finished up my fubar code and object nesting job.

I should have done it right the first time. Loading objects from the library name them when they are loaded for referencing later. Instead right now its a mess everything is just thrown on the stage and I assume it will always be there in my code. In the event something is no longer there the whole thing will crash. Good work right?
