I'm Alexandra, I'm 15 and a half, and I'm a freshman in high school. Music is life. I'm listening to it right now. I can almost guarantee it. I love rock music. I can't really name all the different genres, because most bands fit into more than one. But the main ones are metal, hard rock, alternative, emo, and screamo. The Academy Is... is my favorite band of all time. The kind of band you know you're going to love until you die. They are that band for me. The music they make is the most amazing thing.I love anime. Music has kinda taken its number one spot though, but AFO8 has boosted and refreshed my love for it again. L from Death Note was the first person I cosplayed as at that con so I'm on a Death Note binge right now. Fullmetal Alchemist, Death Note and Naruto are my favorite shows/mangas. Hellsing, Smaurai Champloo, D.N.Angel, D.Gray-Man, Trinity Blood, Trigun, Wolf's Rain, and Bleach are some of the other shows I've seen.
I'm attempting to learn guitar/bass. At the moment it's pretty much just picking them up and messing around on them. It's a teach-yourself situation, so I'm getting along slowly...
I want to be a hairstylist. I practice on myself all the time. More than I should actually... I cut my hair short recently and now I'm letting it grow out again haha. I want to attend cosmetology school after high school in Chicago. My best friend and I are planning on moving there as soon as we can.(after high school).
I love to write. Love love love it. I mostly tend to do fanfictions, which are short stories based on something else. Like, taking anime characters and writing about what you want to happen. It doesn't have to be anime though. I am working on two books (if you can call them that. At the moment their more like outlines and beginnings).
I don't really know what to say about me, as a person. I'm good at facts and stuff, but personality-wise I'm bad at explaining because in my mind, it's complicated. You probably wouldn't think so, but for me to explain me, and the 'me' in my head, would take a year and pages and pages of writing it all out. And even then, what I would be trying to get across, would not get across, due to my difficult analogies and bad examples. Some of it would make sense, other stuff would sound too simple to matter, and those are the things that make it hard to explain.
Random facts I decided to put down:
- I want to paint my room like my profile. Black and white vertical stripes all around the room. However, I'd settle for black walls.
- I love quoting TAI TV (a weekly video thing The Academy Is... does) and other things members of The Academy Is... say with my best friend and my sister.
- I got a jean jacket recently from TJ Max and I adore it above almost all of my other articles of clothing (exceptions would be my The Academy Is... band shirts). I even named it Mike after Mike Carden from The Academy Is..., because in one episode of TAI TV (episode 9...I think...), Mike Carden because he said something about I-Zod, then "Love it. Endorse it." And my jacket is made by I-Zod.
- When Amber isn't over, I'm on the computer almost every waking hour. I'll even stay on while I'm playing DDR and do whatever I'm doing in between songs.
- It's FRICKIN' SCOOTER TIME!
