I went to Orlando for my holiday-related celebrations. It was fun, even though it was very crowded. At Epcot, there is a section themed as different countries of the world, and at Japan, I got pocky and that ramune soda with the marble in it and (since it was the eve of the new year) a lucky cat charm (silver, for patience, or so it says). And I made a friend there, too. She and I really hit it off, especially once we realized that we are both on Gaia! I've talked to her almost daily since then, even though she lives in California. All in all, a worthwhile trip.

And, in the interim, I finally got my driver's license, and, in two days, I'll finally be going to a non-community college, which means actually living in a dorm. And, I got a laptop (which I'm writing this on currently) and finally put everything from my old computer on it. Seeing as how the old computer is nearly 9 years old, I'm glad I was able to salvage all my music and old stories before it could die.

And... I believe that is all that's worth mentioning.

I just felt like I haven't really talked to you at all since adding you. I mean, we've never really spoken outside of a few lj comments, but I like talking to you, so even a gaia profile comment would be sufficient.

Anyway, how have you been? I'm outside of the loop for everything, which is fine since I'm still relatively new to most, so your answer can be as simple as you want it to be.

.....Why does some of that come out sounding so awkward? I mean, I know we're not much more than acquaintances, and I'm glad to know you at all, but... I'd like to be more of a friend. But that implies a lot, and friendship is something you can't attain overnight.... Plus, this seems like a bit much for a public venue (6.6; wink so, I'm going to leave it at that before I misrepresent myself even more...
