In a utilitarian sense, yes. : D I always found him ethical any ways. He's just a really good troll - as in he doesn't actually believe half the s**t he says but he does it for the reaction of others.

Well, it's not just the governmental mind set. It's the social/cultural mind set with in China as well which is why it's such a problem. The people dealing with female infanticide directly are either A. The people killing/leaving the female infant at the overly crowded adoption agency or B. A worker with in the Chinese funded adoption agency who doesn't have the time and/or man power to take care of 100+ babies so the infants are under very harsh conditions and if they don't eat on time, they don't get fed so it's not uncommon for babies to die and not receive medical attention so if it looks like they're getting close to death, the adoption agency may leave them to die in a room away from the others often nicknamed "The Dying Room". Chinese people know about this but no one was/is doing anything about it because it either doesn't affect them or only affects them positively if they want a male child and even the British documentary about it didn't have a very big impact. So when you read statistics of how many babies of each gender are born, you have to then take in to account how many of those female infants actually live as well when they're often in rural places or poorer families who can not afford abortion from the get-go. From just birth statistics, it seems like the "One Child Policy" is just starting to take its toll given Chinese culture but really there's whole new subset of issues that occur with female infants after birth that aren't even being looked at so it's been a huge problem for years. Anyways, this is only an example of the more selfish side of Chinese mind set which stems from not valuing human life very highly in general.

You made me soo happy getting me to make a joke about the Chinese government XD I had too much fun in international relations in high school getting to be China for our mock UN meeting. I've taken Mandarin Chinese for 5 years and have done various reports on Chinese political things so I feel like I know the darker side to the government a little too well. Also general Chinese mind set comes off as selfish anyways. Oh, as for the Japanese knowledge, I was a Japanese major for a years and a half. Beat my love of the language out of me so now I'm a more laid back Psychology major. XD
