It's all very weird, yeah. I try not to let it bug me too much. Once I'm out of school I'll probably find a dating site and just see what 'fish' come for a bite that way. People like us aren't all that abnormal, but they are much harder to find out about. We can be shyer because society doesn't really know what to do with us, but that makes it harder to find each other.
At least down there it's ~slightly~ more sensible in winter to wear that? But last winter up here got as bad as -20 with windchill on top of that, as well as several feet of snow, and it's like...how are you alive?!

Just on the whole, between that and my social anxiety, I don't understand what seems to be the majority of my own sex well.
You want to spend hours and lots of money getting all prettied up to hope some possibly drunk person notices you at a party? What?
I'm the jeans, t-shirt, sit inside and play videogames and watch anime girl. Not super rare, I know, but I still feel weird at school sometimes.
Especially about now, when the attack of the clones starts, and lots of the girls wear black leggings (not even pants or a skirt, just leggings i.e. similar to stockings...) and brown Uggs. Not only do they not match, but once it snows, those slippers that are pretending to be shoes get soaked through and stained by road salt. I don't understand. gonk It's not sensible in winter, and you all look exactly alike...why... (Things like that~ whee )

Ah, no, not looks, actions. redface But thank you!
I am attracted to men, and have ladyparts, but I hate pink, makeup, clothes shopping...the usually "feminine" actions.

But it's always a bit of fun to find someone else who ships the same underdog pairing~

Not sure how they can be spiritually superior without emotion. xd
Sayaka's big deal in the show was Kyosuke and his fancy violin, so I don't think she would have really noticed Kyoko then anyway.
But, again, fandoms do not make sense.
The song after their death certainly doesn't help matters. xd (Of course translations all differ slightly, but this one does benefit by making the actress' parts distinct.)

I just mean there were a lot more hints thrown into the movie after fans had shipped them. They are living in the same apartment, that bit in the final fight where they hold hands and Sayaka says she regrets leaving her beind...
Parts of what the community wanted were shown more strongly in the movie. It's not necessarily the things everyone wanted, but they were concepts that you'd see in a lot of fan works.

Fanfics can be a whole bundle of "joy" sometimes, I agree. But it was more along the lines of, if a large portion of fans/fanfics really wanted to see how the plot might change if person did X instead of Y, with the show itself already providing some of the benefits/repercussions of that possible path, and the author thinks it sounds fun, they should go for it.
I mean, no one expected Rebellion Story to turn out how it did, but we all wanted to see some of those things: when Homura and Madoka reunite, Sayaka x Kyoko, Mami with Nagisa... the staff took those general topics, put them in, then twisted it into their own thing. The fans' best dreams turned out to be or worst nightmare.

But that's kind of the fun of time travel- Madoka already has two alt timeline mangas (one that started as a fanfic?) out that, if popular enough, could be turned into more episodes.
The joys of alt timelines is the fans might do the work themselves to let the show, after the first season, know where it's going.
So I'd like to see bigger and better things now that the first few time loop shows have done so well.

Also I finally wandered to look at your profile instead of just the reply chain. sweatdrop I usually don't put on english songs because it might be hard to read if I have a lot of text (then again, I haven't changed any text on there in a while...hmm...) but will at least try to put up a lyric'd version of a song for as long as youtube's not being a butt about copyright. But to hear a song I recognize and like... emotion_kirakira Good way to wake up in the mornin'
Where is the background from?

But he's such a goody two shoes, he could have saved pretty much everyone else he ever met (who, of course, have all proven weaker than Asuna).
Like the little dragon girl, or even the computer code child.
Asuna got nerfed hard just for that plot to exist.

I wanna see an Anime tackle time travel on a much larger scale. Lotsa time loops, not so much time travel.
Somewhat in Steins;Gate but it was limited by the technology of the time it was set in.

Was continuing our SAO is horrible rambling. That Asuna. The one who could have been so much more if the author didn't think she was the only damsel Kirito would want to rescue.

Anime does certainly have a lot more freedom to explore concepts like time travel, when it's not busy being cliche, though.
But there will always be cliches, so it's hard to avoid.

Any waste of time is at least a chance to go "nothing like this, ever again."
Asuna is another sore writing point for me. You can't take the heroine (or at least equal partner to the hero) and make her a damsel in distress. No.
And so we live, we learn, we find more and more obscure things.
I ended up watching a lot of time loop things back to back, maybe that's my preferred genre? Steins;Gate, Madoka, Higurashi...it was quite the odd year for me to catch up on anime.

I watch what seems interesting, usually to completion even if it is not.
"Stuck in an mmo badass" -SAO (did not meet expectations)
"Stuck in an mmo, not SAO" -Log Horizon (fared pretty well)
"children's deathmatch mystery" -Dangan Ronpa (ehhh? though I guess it's another one that wasn't up to par with the source material)
And so on. I'll check its "hook," its art style, and whatever a review or friend can tell me about its plot, combine that with the number of episodes, subbed/dubbed, and magically decide from that if it's worth my time.
Usually if the "entire internet" loves it or hates it, it's probably at least something to pass the time with without regret. Then again, that didn't apply to Twilight >_>. "If the 'entire internet' loves it or hates it and it sort of sounds like something I'd actually watch."

Nah, Wisconsin, other side of the country.
It's odd, because when I spent some time recently trying to get things for my mule (since she was years old and flat broke), gold shop items seemed fine goals to aim for. It felt good to just have something nicer to wear than starter sets.
But on my main I'm always drooling over the latest things. I think lurking so much in the GCD may be bad for me? It really seems a matter of perspective.

Yeah, we're back to lower-middle-class. Had some high times selling off old items we only half liked, but now it's back to the grind. There's just, compared to before, a lot more above our budgets. And we just have to accept that. Or shell out $100/month or something insane.
Selling bugs is a fairly decent way to make quick millions (not hundreds of millions, mind you, just millions, and that will decrease if too many people sell at once). Meaning anything in the billion-ish range is somewhat doable with effort.
But before, there was effort- a few days of trying to max out Booty Grab for one item. But at least that was more created gold than market gold, so it stayed steady...so is that better than now...?
I just had a hard math test, my brain doesn't want to math anymore...

Kinda sad, but if that's the moral the cartoons teach young girls...? It's all rather cyclical.
I just expected better considering their past works. Sometimes I just gotta rant it out. xp New season's bull didn't help that... sweatdrop Sorry~
I'll pick and poke at other stuff from time to time, but nothing else has screwed up quite so royally recently.

But poorly constructed. Korra fell for Mako, which was fine, but then he fell for her, even though he originally hated her for just being another fangirl (which is all she really was). He just magically changed, AFTER she'd already had a good friend-date with Bolin. And then she threw that away for Mr. Grumpypants. Should have been with Bolin...
Jinora fell for Kai even though she knew he was a thief and a liar. She should have a better moral compass than that.
It's not that they aren't allowed to act like teenagers, but them crushing on each other makes no sense.
Like Bolin and Opal suddenly getting lovey dovey. Sure, it's rushed, but it's not breaking the laws of common sense. I can deal with that.
Mako and Asami went over smoothly enough too.
But as I said, some of it's just written like a bad fanfic (Korra having to date the hot emotional one instead of the sweet one, Jinora falling for the bad boy, etc).

I know, I'm at the point now where if I don't spend cash (I try not to), I'm stuck having to ration off one item to get more. And I'm nearly at my limit there, too.
I also know most people don't consider it anime (I'm not gonna bother touching that debate), but it sits at a point where it's at the same higher level of storytelling, compared to most cartoons for young people. Sadly it did pander to shippers and the like and it went terribly from there. xd
I recently watched Nostalgia Critic's top 11 AtLA episodes (skipping some of his guff cause I just wanted to know the results), and he put on a moment when Aang and Katara kissed, from near the end of the series. And it felt so real and loving! Korra and Mako kissing was like watching a kid squish doll faces together and make smoochy noises.
