My name is Rachel, but it's spelled Raechyl in my username. You can call me either version, or something else completely. xP I work at a really crappy McDonald's, but when I'm at home I'm chillin' with my 2 kiddies and playing video games. xP
I've been on Gaia since I was 13. I hardly ever get on anymore, so sorry if this is outdated or whatever. xP
I tend to contradict myself a lot. I think that the world is a beautiful place. I love just standing somewhere and looking around, seeing the way the light shines, the color everywhere, and just breathing in the glory of every second I’m given. Despite that, I’m depressed quite often, usually with only a petty or nonexistent reason. It runs in my family, though, [along with insanity o__o] so my whole life is like fighting against my genes just to stay happy. I tend to write better when I’m sad, though. Go figure. xP
I think that “natural” people [aka – no make up, dyes, plastic surgery, etc.] are usually the most beautiful, but my hair is dyed and I love putting on make up. It’s almost like art, and my face is the canvas.
I love to read and write, but I’m not always so good at the second. xD I like writing both poetry and stories, and I’ve been told that I’m pretty good at the first. I want to eventually write a book, but I haven’t really had the time recently. Someday...haha. How often is that said?
I like languages, and at one point I wanted to be a linguist when I was older, and learn every language that was known. xD For now, I’m content with the little [little!] bits of Spanish, German, Gaelic, French, and ASL that I know. =P Although...without practice they are kinda slipping away. =[
I make beaded jewelry and am going to try to make a website to sell it on eventually. Maybe I'll just join etsy. Lol. If I end up making you something, don’t be surprised – people are pretty amazing forms of inspiration, and I’ve made things for people I barely even know before. Most of them are [as of yet…] undelivered, but hopefully I’ll get the chance to pass them along. xD I'm also interested in a lot of other kinds of crafts, particularly sewing, but I haven't had a lot of experience with them
