Ugh, I hate when that happens! Especially when they make a v.2 of rp's that don't need it and then everything is messed up. That happened to a really good rp I was in. The creator didn't do much, and we where left to our own devices, which was really nice. Then she came in and said that the thread was closed, but if we wanted to continue we could go to the new re-make she'd set up. And she got really mad when some of us tried to keep going in the old thread! So not fair.

Meh, I don't care enough to be so specific. I have one style/format that works for me and I use it for everything. Maybe with a new coat of paint, if I'm feeling artsy. Although, I do like messing with the pic I'm using. On occasion.
Wow, eight? Its never gotten that bad for me. I join rp's a lot that are below my level, and they tend to move pretty snappy.

And I don't mind the edit,copy, and paste part. Sure its a bit of a pain, but it doesn't take more then a minute and it keeps whatever stuffy thread god appeased.
The page stretching, monster decorated posts always bug the heck out of me. Especially when the actual text is smaller then whats been pasted on around it. Pleh! Pleh pleh!

Yes! Thats what I want! And it would be easy for some one who'd been around for a while to just put up a little summary, wouldn't it? Like, for the new arrivals or just cause. IS THAT SO HARD TO DO!?!

I also don't get decorating posts. Seems kind of pointless to me. I can understand coloring the text, just to make it easier to find people or tell who's who. But all the pictures and lyrics and animations that people stuff in....ugh! >.<

Although, I've heard that a lot of literate rp-ers have moved to guilds. Perhaps that is why Barton doth sucketh?

I think they're worried about inflation. Like, if they make the gold easier to get, then it will be worth less.
And I'm sure if you asked, they'd say that gaia is about the socialization and not about the gold.
